The situation in the Demonic Pit could be felt outside by the individuals guarding it, but they weren't completely sure of what was going on inside. That didn't mean they couldn't sense that changes were taking place inside, because the Heritage Weapon of the Li clan was able to detect violent energy surges in the Demonic Pit.
