It was obvious to the woman that the man was still shaken by wrath. Her eyes quietly observed how the matter affected Aslak's composure and as wise she was, no more was to be asked from the man in the midst of anger.

For aware that if still shaken, reasoning with him would be meaningless as his head was still filled with distaste.

Hence, she stood from the arm of the chair. Placing her hand around the thick neck and shoulder of the man as she sat on his lap. Taking him off guard… Yet sweetly caring, softly smiling... so his mood would not worsen any further.

"It must have been truly distasteful a thing Yngve said for you to be this enraged, husband."
