Drowsy from the deep rest she had found on a warm night, Ewelina gasped for air once awoken, noticing that around her, the spouse’s arms still held onto her body. Heavy and close... Keeping her as warm as he kept her all night.

Following her relaxed exhalation, the embrace tightened and right after, the rusty voice of the man filled her ears, clearly awake and clear… unlike her dazed one.

“… Are you alright?” — Lightly, his head peeked at the woman’s visage, concealing his smirk until her umber hues opened enough to allow him to tell his tease. — “You even jumped to the nail.”

“… Husband…” — Blankly she blinked, turning in the mattress to also grasp his torso in a hug. Cuddling more to his wide frame, overjoyed to see his grin as soon as awake. — “It surprised me, husband…”

“… Y-… You arranged that.”

“Mhm… yet I was deeply asleep… I rested so well, my spouse…”
