“Yes, sister?“ He said, looking up with his facial expression gentle as a placid lake.
“The things you had asked for to be prepared are following their due course,” said the nun, head slightly bowed and hands clasped in front of her. “But may I ask the reason behind this amount of preparation, Father?“
Father William closed the ledger he had been reading and slowly opened his mouth as if to say something. Only to stop the next second, barely catching himself from divulging information he shouldn't.
