It has been 3 months since Kai, Haruhime and Sophia had sex together since then they hadn't done it again. And Kai was glad about this. Not that he hated it he even enjoyed doing it but such a relationship isn't what he desired.
The last effect of the harem sub-system lower a members sex appetite is taking effect and it's a god sent for Kai.
Haruhime is still 8 years old and Kai is just 6. Having too many intimate moments on this day of age isn't really good.
It will be bad in the long run.

In the past 3 months Kai has improved a lot.
He mainly focused on controlling his energy and harnessing it so that it wouldn't bring too much strain on his physical body.
Kai now even in his current prowess in between Tier 3 or 4 on his mortal state has enough power to decimate an entire city with a single spell without any bad aftereffects on his person.
Though it wasn't that impressive compared to his Tier 17 power that allows him to easily erase an entire universe by a flick of his finger, at least his Tier 3 power is something he works hard to achieve on his own.
Unlike a certain lovely Slime, Kai didn't rely on [Sophia] as he mastered his skills on his own without her help familiarizing every skill to the limit of his current realm.
In truth his skills don't really sync well with him unlike what he had presumed to be as the difference in actual skill gain through effort and the one gain through shortcuts is shown.
This made Kai realize how foolish he was about wishing powers without giving it much of a thought. Though he gains power it comes with a great price. Kai's goal now is to master his skills to make it his own.
Sophia's job is to analyze, dismantle and reconstruct the skills to their most basic form to create branch skills that will grant him more versatility. Expanding his arsenal and opening new and more paths for him to explore.
Kai's first achievement in this past 3 months was him being able to perfectly sync [True Magic] and [True Dragon Magic] granting him the new magical skill [True Mystic Arcane].
Instead of relying on magic arts Kai can now alter a portion of reality to his whims and create a spell in the get go by merely imagining it. Though he still needs a sufficient amount of understanding before achieving it but that is something more of Sophia's job.

Currently Kai is idly leaning on the window of the mansion from the second floor eating some snacks as he watches Haruhime and Sophia at it again dueling each other in a fight to the death.
Things such as injury, crippling injury and death aren't really a problem anymore during practice due to the [Magic] Kai had purchased from the shop.

Haruhime sent a barrage of high-speed sword strikes aiming for Sophia's vitals. Unfortunately the attacks did absolutely nothing to the latter, it couldn't even touch a hair on her body.
Sophia just casually shrugged Haruhime's attacks by just taking a few simple steps not wasting any movements as her every action was perfectly calculated beyond precision.
Something that should be nearly impossible but not for Sophia.
Though her attack did absolutely nothing Haruhime did not give up just yet as she continued on attacking Sophia trying to spot any small mistakes there is. She knew full well how absurd Sophia's calculation speed, analysis and perception to that point is almost like she seems to be able to see through the future.
Though Sophia did have such ability to peer through a few seconds to the future she did not use it in this battle.
As the duel continued the more speedy Haruhime had become each of her strikes already broken through the sound barrier enough to warrant Sophia to be cautious around her.
"You're getting better and better in your control and skill utilization." Sophia comments as she dodges another attack from Haruhime that was aimed for her head.
"It was all thanks to you and Kai that I am able to reach this level of power in a short time." Haruhime replied in her characteristic gentle voice. Though her attacks aren't the same.
"You're as humble as always. This is why I like you." This time Sophia was forced to deflect Haruhime's attack as the speed had already reached a threshold she couldn't ignore.
This was due to Haruhime's [Unique Skill: Light Flash] the more momentum she gets the more faster and deadlier her attacks become. Furthermore, each and every attack of Haruhime completely ignores every defense due to another [Unique Skill: Reality Severance] once a [Skill: Severance] evolved into unique skill due to her tireless efforts this past 3 months.
Kai and Sophia concluded that Haruhime is a genuine genius. Her talent could be said to be only slightly behind Kai. Moreover, Haruhime is not someone to give up easily. She has this mentality of not giving up and always giving her all. As of now she poses a considerable threat to Kai and Sophia in a melee battle.
When it comes to magic she's only slightly behind and that is because her magic is very complicated and she doesn't have someone like [Sophia] supporting her.
The only reason she was able to catch up a bit is due to Kai trying to master reality manipulation a more complex type of phenomena manipulation that directly interferes with the very causality of existence.

Sophia was forced to draw her sword as she and Haruhime began their clash.
Sparks flash everywhere moving from one side to another as the two individuals fought to the death.
They aren't worried in the slightest about dying as they are in the influence of [Virtual Enlightenment Field] though even without it Kai can casually revive them so long he is alive and well.
Still the main purpose of the [Virtual Enlightenment Field] is to avoid such outcomes and learn from their mistakes.
Sophia sent a powerful and high-speed horizontal slash aiming to cut Haruhime in two.
The latter responded by taking a stance.
"Light Breathing Technique, Angels Guardian."
A virtual projection of an angel appeared before Haruhime as it blocked the deadly attack Sophia sent.
Sophia quickly steps back distancing herself from the projected angel.
The angel tried to reach her but Sophia was faster.
She also took a stance on her right foot forward while her katana was on its scabbard.
"Mirror Breathing Technique, Parallel Avatar."
"Mirror Breathing Technique, Mirror Shards."
Dozens of identical figures that have the same features as Sophia, a more feminine version of Kai appeared on all sides and around this figure were countless mirrors shards surrounding their bodies.
In an instant all the Sophia's vanished from their spots as they appeared before the angel and Haruhime who was inside it.

Each Sophia attacked at the same time, the attack dealt too much damage that the projected angel wasn't able to coupe up as it turned into particles of light.
Haruhime was a bit taken aback as she hadn't once seen Sophia use such a technique, caught off guard and an opening was presented so Sophia took it appearing before Haruhime's cutting her in two halves on the waist without an ounce of hesitation.
Though the battle should have concluded but Haruhime had a wide grin.
Seeing this Sophia's mind quickly moved into an overdrive.
Unfortunately for her she was already too late as a sword punctured her heart coming from behind marking the end of their battle.
Though earlier Haruhime was genuinely surprised by the technique Sophia showed she was able to react fast and instead used that moment as an opportunity to switch the tides of the battle.
The Haruhime who was cut into two halves turned into molds of light particles.
"Light Breathing Technique, Mirage Image."
Haruhime muttered as she dropped to the ground exhausted. Though she is still smiling as she looks at the dying Sophia.
Sophia who had her heart punctured smiled at Haruhime giving the latter an approving nod.
"That was amazing, Haru-chan; 69 wins and 1 lost. You finally won at last." Said by the dying Sophia.
"Why do I feel like you're teasing me?" Asked Haruhime vigilantly.
"That's just your imagination." Sophia wave Haruhime's suspicion.
Sophia also turned into mold of light particles only this one is red color depicting the color of human blood.
A few seconds later she appeared outside of the [Virtual Enlightenment Field] at the very center of a magic array circle where one is revived every time they die.
Though it's called death for Sophia it was nothing but an expiration of her material body.
She wouldn't really die no matter what as she is a [Skill] in her origin. Only abilities that warp causality have a chance of truly killing her for good.
However, to achieve that they also need to kill Kai so she wouldn't just be revived on a whim after her death.
