Bab 57: Zoelva's Problem

All those dark stories were in the past; everything is different now. Jiang Zhi thought that even if everyone betrayed him, he would be fine as long as it wasn't Shen Yize. Jiang Zhi unconsciously reached out to hold Shen Yize's hand.

"It's safe here. Let's go back to the car and eat before we continue," he said, leading Shen Yize back along their previous path.

When they arrived, the food Zhang Rui had cooked was ready and set aside for them.

Zhang Rui handed them their portions while he, Zhang Yichen, and Zoelva had already eaten. That was because Jiang Zhi and Shen Yize had been gone for too long.

"Where's Zhang Yichen?" Jiang Zhi asked after making sure Zhang Yichen hadn't gone out to talk to them.

"He's sleeping," Zhang Rui replied casually. "Oh, Mu Yang also told me that they stopped near the border and are waiting for us."
