Li An'an made a bowl of noodles without any onions, ginger, or garlic for Chu Yichen.

"That's all you're giving me?" Chu Yichen leaned back on the sofa, not wanting to pick up his chopsticks. He looked at Li An'an with dissatisfaction, as if blaming her for the lack of attention.

"It can't be helped. There are only these ingredients at home. Make do with it. We'll make a better version next time."

Chu Yichen was happy to hear that. "So do you mean I should come back tomorrow!"

Li An'an didn't know what to say. There was something wrong with his comprehension. He was doing it on purpose.

Chu Yichen teased her for a while. Seeing that she was getting more and more annoyed, he picked up his chopsticks and started to eat the noodles.
