It was more than an hour later before dinner was ready. She felt upset when she saw the three children wolfing down their food.

"Darlings, if Mommy cannot come back in time in the future, I'll get a nanny to look after you, okay?"

Li An'an wanted to hire a part-time nanny. The extra expense was fine, as long as the nanny could help out when she couldn't take care of the children.

Li Baobao pulled a long face and said, "Nanny will beat us. We don't want one." She was very worried. The television said that nannies always beat the kids. She was scared.

Li Jùnjùn also objected. "Mommy, I don't like to have strangers at home."

This was their home. With strangers around, it wouldn't feel cozy anymore.
