"Oh! Did I disturb your private party?" She quipped, her tone laced with sarcasm.

"Did you come here to make me feel worse?" He rubbed his nape with a small frown. Ana's hands twitched to reach out to him at his gloomy expression.

"No, I came here because I missed you. Can we just talk instead of fight?"

Khai's shoulders wilted, energy draining out of him as he walked over to sit next to her on his bed. He pulled her closer to him and she promptly climbed his lap, wrapping her arms and legs around him.

His arms circled her as he placed soft kisses on the sensitive spot on her neck, rubbing his large hands on her back as he pushed her into his chest. "I'm sorry I got upset."

"I'm sorry I upset you." She murmured into his embrace.
