Bab 41: Chapter 41: A Familiar Face

I helped Rilian to the bed, shaking my head as he plopped down and began rolling around in the sheets like a child.

"I didn't even know Vampires COULD get drunk," I laughed, grabbing his foot.

"Course we can," grumbled Rilian, peddling his feet as I struggled to try and untie his shoes. "Just takes, ya know…a lot more…. "

"Mhm," I said, eventually resorting to grappling his legs with one arm to wrestle them off. "I guess two bottles of straight gin would do it then."

"Yes, sir," He lifted his hips to help me take off his pants and then reached out to me, grabbing at the air like a child asking to be lifted.

I crawled up next to him, giggling as I laid down and snuggled into his side.

"I'll stay with you til you fall asleep," I said gently, "but then I need to go back downstairs, your night is over, but mine just started. I'm on the day shift today."

"Awww," said Rilian, and he sighed, snuggling in against the pillow. "Send April my threat…."
