*One Week Later*
My head was pounding. I pinched the bridge of my nose, groaning uncomfortably in the back of Andrea's truck with April One at my side.
She had written my letter of recommendation and was coming to the trials as my representative.
"How was it studying under Justin?" she asked, passing me a bottle of water.
"Every day has been grueling," I sighed, "I have never had to study so much my entire life. I would have happily gone back to muck the stalls at the feedlot for three solid days than ever have to that again."
She chuckled. "Did you learn anything?"
"I really, REALLY hope so," I sighed.
It was just me, Andrea, and April in the car. Justinian had suggested Rilian pretend he did not know me. After all, how could he keep track of every single thing he bought?
"It's a miracle my application was accepted," I sighed, "I was sure they wouldn't buy any of that."
