Su Hongxing slapped her hand down on the table in an attempt to impose her presence, yet accidentally hurt her own hand in the process.

Her lips twitched in pain. As she lifted her eyes, she noticed a faint smirk appearing in Ye Qilan's eyes.

On one hand, she was annoyed at her own clumsiness, but on the other, she realized that Ye Qilan indeed was emotionally stirred due to her. This was a good sign.

"Su Hongxing, I think you're the one who's sick! Yalun is my doctor, you're merely my medication," Ye Qilan grabbed Su Hongxing's hand, noticing her fair palm turning red, his eyes darkening slightly.

He might be lacking in emotions, but that didn't mean he was without intelligence. This woman was foolish enough thinking she could override his authority.

"Does it hurt? Let me blow it for you," Ye Qilan planted a soft kiss on Su Hongxing's delicate hand, then blew on it a few times, his eyes softening with tenderness.
