Bab 732: NOT ENOUGH TIME TO GRIEVE

People in the Howling Wolf pack greeted her and was actually happy to see her, but somehow, Iris didn't feel anything, she felt numb. 

She asked herself; wasn't this what she wanted a year ago? To be recognized and to be welcomed? To have people, who would be happy to see her? Now, she got what she wanted she didn't feel happy at all. 

Those smiling faces didn't give her comfort. Those words of welcome sounded like a buzzing sound in her ears. She couldn't bring herself to smile at them or see them right in the eyes. She only wanted to go to her bedroom and curled herself with the baby, while Cane prepared for the funeral. She needed every ounce of strength to go through her own daughter's funeral.
