Not to mention that he was outnumbered, this pack literally owned by Cane now and it would ruin his long term plan. It didn't worth it. 

Alpha Nolan simply didn't expect Iris would fight back, she didn't look like that type of person, more so, as a woman, she shouldn't have talked back to him. A good woman wouldn't cause trouble and even though she was a luna, in front of the alpha, she should lower her head and shut her mouth.
