Bab 551: IS IT NOT DIRTY?

Cane woke up to find Iris was not by his side. He must have been very tired, until he fell asleep too deep and did not realize when his mate slipped out of his arms and got down from the carriage.

But then, his heart gave a start when he heard the commotion out there, thinking something had happened and the thought Iris was out of his sight made him jump to his feet and rush out of the carriage, only to find this white fur ball being the cause of the commotion.

"What is that creature doing here?!" Cane growled darkly. He looked around, looking for a certain someone. If this lazy bear was here, its owner also must be nearby.

Iris and Ethan almost jumped out of their skins to hear how vicious and dangerous Cane's voice sounded. Even Lil Thing covered its eyes with its paws, as if by doing so, it could hide itself from the angry predator before it.
