Lucas looked at the dark corridor and felt that it was ominous.

He looked at the others and couldn't find a single happy or excited face.

"Lucas is our leader, maybe he can go ahead," Haley said while averting her gaze from Lucas.

'Fuck' Lucas grumbled inwardly knowing that as a leader, it was his duty to go ahead or else, why would the others even trust him and his decisions?

Lucas couldn't have that, it was his duty and if he didn't perform them then there was no meaning in being the leader.
