Bab 123: The Duchess

"Do we need to open the minds of our mates?" Princess Aryella asked as she looked at the beautiful form of the Duchess. Venus sensed the insecurity forming within Aryella. She couldn't blame her; the woman was beautiful and alluring. Her tanned body was perfect, like the body of a Miss Universe candidate: tall, slim, long-legged, narrow waist, well-proportioned breasts, and hips.

"We need to trust our mates, princess," she said, but she was also tempted to use her power to read Damoen's mind. With the duchess' height, she looked stunning, and she walked with grace and confidence down the hallway to the entrance of the palace.

Danm! She shouldn't be feeling this way. "Let me background check her first. Why do you call her the duchess?" she asked.

"Because it's her name," Princess Aryella said.

"Oh, I thought it was some kind of status here," she said. Was she one of the chiefs? "She asked again.
