Bab 95: THE CITY

Abigail wondered what the other people had said in their hearts, perhaps some might have insulted her or say some inappropriate things. Abigail knew she shouldn't mind what people say but most times she couldn't help but wonder what they had said behind her back.

"I believe next time you would think before starting a fight" Xavier said as he looked outside the windows for a while before closing his eyes and resuming back to his former position. With his one leg crossed on the other and his head placed on the head rest of the car, his fingers lightly tapped on his thigh creating a rhythm. 

"Is that why you didn't get me the pearl bracelet, because I started a fight?" Abigail asked. She had a feeling that his reason was because of the fight but still she wanted to be clear. 

"Is that what you think Abigail?" Xavier asked her back answering her question with a question. This act Abigail had noticed that he does it a lot.
