Rayne was speechless at the random reward critical strike. There wasn't even anything that could particularly increase his cultivation immediately among these rewards.
The soul ring enhancement beads are quite self explanatory. Once used, it increases the age of your soul ring, depending on the level of the bead.
As for the supreme grade life simulation cards… Rayne had already used three of them. And because of unique circumstances, all three of the life simulation opportunities were used up with the fixed world of Douluo planet.
The new ones will most likely be on worlds unknown to him currently.
But Rayne has no intention of using these anytime soon. The massive memories of the previous lifetimes have already made him feel quite unwell. If he rashly use anymore life simulations anytime soon, his personality will be greatly affected.
After all, memories are what mostly make up one's personality.
The only reason Rayne can still remain himself is because, he set his original twenty years of life as the core of his memories. This also keeps his personality relatively intact.
As for adapting to the current world?
What a joke! Why would he possibly adapt to a backward feudal society, when he himself comes from a far more advanced civilization.

He didn't find any particularly big changes to himself, considering the magnitude of the previous life data, among which, five of them were literal God level.
While Rayne checked out the rewards for the mission, Ah Yin softly called out.
"My lord?"
"Hm? What is it, Ah Yin?" Rayne asked, looking at the blue silver grass with golden vein patterns on it, wrapped around his wrist.
"Are you really not killing this Tang San? His existence seems to be very bad for us soul beasts."
Ah Yin said in a heavy and concerned tone. The things she heard today made her realize that, the soul beast race is targeted by an unimaginably powerful existence. An existence, even the legendary law enforcer of Divine Realm, Asura God King, has to revere.
Laws of the Universe.
The name itself speaks volumes of how much of a great existence it is.
"Don't worry about it. This guy doesn't have what it takes to get in my way."
Rayne is very dismissive of Tang San. If not for the fact that the future Tang San will definitely be reborn, Rayne would've just wiped out Tang San right here and then.
But Ah Yin obviously didn't know Rayne's thoughts. She was still very worried.
"But… the laws of the universe…"
"Haha…"
Before Ah Yin could continue, she was interrupted by Rayne's laughter.
"You… aren't you misunderstanding something here? You seem to think of the laws of the universe as some kind of Almighty God?"
Rayne asked with a bit of laughter in his voice.
"It's not?" Ah Yin asked back awkwardly.
Seeing Ah Yin's ignorance, Rayne sighed and said.
"The so-called 'laws of the universe' is an emotionless will that exists solely for the purpose of development and balance of the universe. It has no human-like thoughts or emotions."
"And… you don't need to worry about the laws of the universe's direct interference. It has a set of rules that must be followed without exception. Even itself is no exception to these rules. Or rather, it is the laws of the universe that is the most bound by these rules."
"You don't have to care so much about it. The laws of the universe will not interfere with the development of civilizations, unless the said civilization poses a definite threat to the balance of the universe."
"In fact, unless you reach cosmic levels of strength and life level like me of the past, or do something that adversely affects the universe greatly like Dragon God's 'Divine Planet' ritual… one can't even come into contact with the laws of the universe."
"So, even if I kill Tang San, the so-called chosen one of the laws of the universe… there won't be any backlash. Tang San's luck is indeed very powerful. The power of luck works in a very mysterious way. It can even subtly affect reality for the benefit of it's host.
In the original work, there were plenty of scenarios where Tang San should have definitely died, but survived almost miraculously.
The most obvious one being Angel God Qian Renxue versus Titled Douluo Tang San.
You know, she had encountered Tang San who was absorbing the soul rings of the three Fifteen Ton Ant Emperor brothers. He was in a completely vulnerable state.
But Qian Renxue didn't take any action against him. Many fans in Rayne's previous life refer to this as Qian Renxue's brainless behavior. But is it really?
Maybe 50%. But, even then, Qian Renxue's behavior was very odd. This is because of being subtly affected by Tang San's luck.
It was the same with Tang San's first encounter with Dugu Bo.
Anyway, the power of luck is very mysterious and unpredictable. So, killing Tang San is a very hard task, unless a God King directly takes action.
Of course, Rayne himself is an exception to this.
Since Ah Yin didn't know much and was unnecessarily worried, Rayne simply explained briefly about the laws of the universe.

Ah Yin: "But the soul beasts…"
"Sigh… Ah Yin, it's wrong to say that the soul beasts are being targeted by the laws of the universe. It's better to say that, the benefits given to the Dragon race millions of years ago by the universe laws, is now being given to the favored Human race."

She just stayed silent. This whole mess was too much to handle. She's just a helpless grass. It's not her turn to take responsibility for the entire race.
Rayne didn't have much to say about this situation. He'll try to help the soul beasts side a bit, to solve their problems.
Just feeling pity for them, is of no use. It's better to take action to help them. Anyway, he too was once part of the soul beast race.
"Anyway, don't worry too much. With me, everything is fine."
Rayne softly said after seeing the silent Ah Yin.
It's not that he's bragging. But everything truly will be fine. Even in the three simulated lives, he was cheating all the way. Now in real life, with his system active, he has become even more of a cheat.
He has life on super easy mode.
After disposing of the Asura God divine consciousness and Tang San's Blue Silver Empress bloodline… and completing the quest.
Rayne looked at the unconscious Tang San and Yu Xiaogang with a thoughtful look.
Remembering Yu Xiaogang's cocky and arrogant manner of speech, as if he was in total control of Rayne's life and death…
Rayne frowned in displeasure. Then he thought of his third simulated life and the troubles he had with Bibi Dong.
Even Liu Erlong annoyed him a lot, after he had turned Yu Xiaogang into a limbless human stick.
Rayne face showed more irritation after remembering it.
"You cannot truly understand someone without understanding their pain."
"Yu Xiaogang, you made somewhat of a fortune by deceiving two women, bringing them great pain for many years."
"But I guess, you're still blaming those two women, thinking that you're the one who suffered the most."
Rayne muttered to himself looking at the unconscious Yu Xiaogang.
Ah Yin was utterly confused.
But Rayne continued on.
"You will never try to understand them. Unless… you can experience the same pain."
"But I suppose, it's kind of impossible for you to experience the same pain, at least in a physical sense."
"Yu Xiaogang, this will be your first step to understanding pain!"
As Rayne said that, his right index finger glowed with golden light.
Rayne wrote many runic letters in air. Each of them exuding a mysterious and profound meaning.
After twenty four runic letters were written, they all glowed brilliantly and fused into one pinkish blue magical rune.
Ah Yin, who was silently observing didn't know why, but she felt very ominous after seeing the pinkish blue magic rune symbol.
"My lord, this is…"
Rayne didn't respond to Ah Yin. He pushed the rune into the unconscious Yu Xiaogang.
This rune isn't anything too special. As for its effects, he'd rather not explain it to Ah Yin. It's quite devious.
