Bab 40: Chapter 39 Asura God: "I'm Cooked".
Rayne looked at the shocked 'Tang San', or rather Asura God's divine consciousness, indifferently.
During his first simulated life, Rayne had observed Asura God and had the impression that, this God is indifferent and law abiding. He also thought that Asura God was different from how he is depicted in many douluo fan fictions.

"This is… the Chains of Heaven?! How is this possible?! The Chains of Heavens are definitely in the Divine Realm! How could it possibly be here?!" Asura God's divine consciousness exclaimed in shock.
Rayne turned a blind eye to Asura God's shock and continued to absorb the divine energy of the opponent.

'Chains of Heaven… is this the name of Lord's artifact? What a domineering and fitting name.'
Ah Yin thought as she looked at the glittering golden chains that exuded a natural suppressive force on all beings.

'Tang San' looked at the blue eyed White haired boy with shock and doubt.
'Ouroboros?! No! That's impossible! I saw with my own eyes as he turned his remains into the foundation for his divine inheritance! Ouroboros is definitely dead! Then… what is this boy? Two of the legendary innate powers of Ouroboros, the Six Eyes and the mysterious 'Kāma'! This boy has both of them.'
'Tang San' looked at Rayne with many thoughts in his mind. Rayne's younger appearance was very deceptive, making his thoughts very complicated.
Suddenly, Asura God seemed to remember something.
'Back then, Ouroboros's descendants with the fire dragon king and water dragon king were still unhatched, and the eggs were still sealed within the two dragon kings as they fell. The place where the two dragon kings fell was…. Douluo continent!'

Only now did he realize that he was being sucked dry by this little monster in front of him. The shock from seeing an uncannily similar appearance to that of the legendary God of Infinity, had somehow numbed him from the current situation.
'What kind of monster is this brat?! How is a mortal even able to absorb divine energy into them?!' Asura God thought in disbelief.
"Father?"
Rayne was surprised by Asura God's sudden words, but he didn't stop devouring the blood red divine power.
Because of his current low level, there is a limit to how long he can mobilize the Chains of Heaven. In a direct confrontation, the current Rayne can't win against a God-level entity.
It is only because of the ultimate divine power restraining ability of Chains of Heaven that, he is able dominate Asura God's divine consciousness.
"Did you not hear me, young man?! I said I am your father's friend, a god!"
Asura God struggled to break free of the restraints, but he was unable to do so. This divine consciousness is a safety insurance for his thousands of years of plan.
Feeling the weakening of the divine energy, Asura God was nervous.
He really didn't want to lose this piece of divine consciousness. Sneaking his divine consciousness into the mortal world is extremely hard, even for him, a God King.
Since the Divine War, the laws of Divine Realm was managed by the five God Kings, as well as the three pseudo-God Kings, who were the three main disciples of Infinity God.
When he thought about how he had to act sneakily to avoid being spotted by those three women, Asura God felt depressed.
But he can't do anything about that. Currently, those three women's combined force can exert power even surpassing that of the legendary Dragon God! Even he, one of the strongest God Kings, don't dare to get on the bad side of those three women.
Not to mention, there are two more dangerous women, the Space God King and the Time God King! The two daughters born between Infinity God and the two God Kings of life and kindness.
Asura God knows that these two have greater individual strength than even him. A few years ago, the God of Contracts, a new born God King with strength surpassing even that of the five God Kings of Asura, Evil, Kindness, Destruction and Life… was defeated by the two God Kings of space and time.
Although there was some strangeness about that God of Contracts, who suddenly became much weaker in the presence of the two God Kings of Space and Time. It is still a fact that these two women are very dangerous.

"….!!" Asura God was shocked to the core of his soul, after hearing Rayne's casual manner of speech.
Other than his fellow God kings, no one dared to directly call him 'Asura'. And, Rayne's casual, or even dismissive, manner of calling him… was something only one being had ever done.
Not even the Dragon God had referred to him in such a casual and dismissive way.
Only one man had ever done so. A man so unfathomably strong and powerful, he brought despair to those who stood opposite him.
The Infinity Dragon, Ouroboros. The God of Infinity!
All the previous assumptions he had made before was completely blown away! No matter how much Asura God wants to deny a certain terrifying possibility, he has to admit it now.
This young man in front of him is… the resurrected Ouroboros.
He couldn't believe it.
The Asura God's consciousness got unusually anxious. He tried to burst out with more power and tried atleast momentarily free himself from the binding of the Chains of Heaven, in hopes of alerting his main body in the Divine Realm.
But unfortunately, before he could mobilize the divine energy, it was all absorbed by Rayne's Kāma.
At the same time, Rayne slightly increased the strength of his hand which was choking the Asura possessed Tang San.
"Ghh…!"
"Didn't you hear my question? Answer me already, you double-faced trash." Rayne said in an indifferent tone with his immature voice.
Looking at Rayne's current immature stature and strength, Asura God's innate fear lessened considerably. Although the current Rayne is considerably, or even outrageously powerful for his age, it is nothing to a divine being.
He said to Rayne in a calm, yet somewhat pretentious tone , "This God King is very pleased that you are resurrected, Lord Ouroboros. But, please focus on your recovery more, as you seem to be very weak right now. This boy that I'm possessing now is a possible successor of mine, so don't interfere in this matter."
Rayne, of course, didn't take Asura God's words pleasantly. He increased the energy absorption rate drastically, and looked at 'Tang San' with his vibrant blue eyes.
"Hmm… you dare to act pretentious in front of me? Is it because of my current state?"
"Well, I am often forgiving towards the ignorant, at least to a certain degree. Just so that you don't continue to court death, I'll say something."
"There is currently a certain part of my original power of my peak period, within me. I can freely utilize it to unleash a blow of my peak strength. And, I have also left my inheritance and my divine consciousness on Douluo planet, which you are already aware of."
Asura God's divine consciousness: "…"

"I don't remember anyone calling themselves 'God King' in front of me?" Rayne asked in a calm, yet, threatening tone.
Asura God's divine consciousness: "…"
Asura God didn't want to offend the boy opposite him, if possible. Infinity God is the most outrageous and audacious God the Divine Realm has ever seen.
The ridiculous, unbelievable and outrageous things Rayne had done in the Divine Realm is numerous.
If he is caught by Rayne, all the plans he had been preparing for thousands of years would all come to an abrupt stop.
Helplessly, he changed his tone of speech once more, in a more humble tone.
"Please understand me, Lord Ouroboros. I've been bound to the Divine Realm for thousands of years now. I'm really tired. I've been looking for a successor for quite a while. I've taken a liking to this child named Tang San. His kind, righteous, justice-filled and filial character is much to my liking. I believe he will definitely be able to become a good law enforcer of Divine Realm."
"…" Rayne cringed a bit after hearing Asura God's description about Tang San's character.
But Rayne didn't delve on it too much. In fact, he had absolutely zero interest in having a conversation with this guy, who is not even the main body of Asura God.
"I won't say much if you're training a successor for yourself. But…" Rayne slowly said.
Asura God's divine consciousness felt relieved at hearing this, but he didn't show it in his face.
But what Rayne said next sent him into an anxiety heart attack.
"This is the third person I'm finding with your divine energy. I also found traces of your divine energy on a certain Blue Silver Empress."
Ah Yin, who was tied to Rayne's wrist as a blue silver grass, was shocked at hearing this. She didn't even know that a God had manipulated her.
"For a God who's supposed to be the law enforcer of the Divine Realm, you sure have a lot involvement in the mortal realm, even to the point of directly interfering in this planet's flow of fate."
"…" Asura God possessed Tang San's face turned pale, his eyes widened in horror.
"As if that wasn't enough, two of your targets are hundred thousand year-level soul beasts. And this so-called successor of yours is also a half-soul beast."
Asura God's divine consciousness: "…"
