Bab 1: Chapter 1: Lucian & System
As Liu Shen opened his eyes, he first saw the armored knight sitting across from him. He had blue piercing eyes, a hair of gray, and a stern face with a short mustache and a roughly trimmed beard. In the knight's right hand he held a sheathed sword which looked to be a long sword while in his left hand he held his helmet.
Then he looked to see his surroundings, which looked like the insides of an expensive carriage with silver lining the carriage walls. It also looked like some sort of lamp was hanging from the ceiling and the light given off from it felt warm but he couldn't see a hint of fire in it. He felt dazed as he pinched himself on his arm and closed his eyes.
'This must be a dream. There's no way there would be a fully armored knight in my room and this place also doesn't look like my room, it looks like the inside of an expensive carriage. I have to be dreaming!!'
Liu Shen opened his eyes again and looked around to try to find anything familiar but it was useless. He couldn't change the reality that he was not in a dream concocted from playing too many games and passing out. Instead he was fully awake.
'What is happening? Was I kidnapped by some cosplaying freak? Why can't I remember anything from last night? Come on brain, try to remember!!'
As Liu Shen tried to remember any memories from his last night, his head started to hurt as waves of unknown and fragmented memories rushed in. The pain only subsided after what felt like a long minute.
As the pain subsided gradually, he learned that he had transmigrated into the body of a prince named Lucian Von Hafter who ruled a kingdom called Wune. He was 15 years old, was 5 feet and 5 inches, had brown eyes, and had black hair.
After Lucian was born, his mother, Cecilia Joan Seville, passed away. The king, Reinold Von Hafter, never took in a new queen after his mother's passing. The prince grew up sheltered from harm as he was the last thing his mother gave to his father before her death. He never learned what a king meant but he knew his father was a great man. He would always take time to play with him and he would grant him access to the great royal library where he loved to be.
The prince loved to read, especially about the world outside the castle. He would always imagine himself going on epic adventures across Zergon, the world he lived in. He would imagine himself casting spells and using a sword to fight an army of demons. With one wave of his arm, lightning will shoot out smiting the demons. With another wave, a sword beam shoots out from his sword cutting the demons down. He would also imagine himself meeting the different intelligent races that make up Zergon like the nature loving Elves, the short and bearded Dwarves, the many tribes of Beastmens, the ocean dwelling Merfolks, the battle crazy Orcs, the all powerful Dragons, the gigantic Titans, the chaotic Elementals, the cunning Goblins and the mystical Fairies.
But reality came crashing down as it was found out by the time he was 10 years old, he had no talent in either magic or battle. In the royal treasury, there is an assessment orb that can test for the talent of magic and battle. It does so by checking if the user can sense mana in the air or sense battle qi inside themselves in a certain amount of time. Blue light means you have the talent of magic, white light means you have the talent of battle while having both lights means you have talent for both. The quicker you sense and the brighter the orb, the stronger the talent while if there is no reaction and the orb stays dark after half a day you have no talent.
The prince was devastated by his results and couldn't come to terms that he had no talent. He shut himself in his room and never came out until suddenly the news of the king's death reached his ears. His father died mysteriously as no signs of battle took place in his office even though his father had battle qi. He had seemingly died in sleep. The funeral for the king was held after no clues were found and the matter of the king's death was put to rest.
That was then that he met his maternal uncle, Carmine Joan Seville, who was the king's aide at the time. He was a tall man at 6 feet and 5 inches, had dark black eyes that felt if you look deeply into will devour your soul, and had a expressionless face.
Finding that he was too young to be a king as he was only 10 at the time, his uncle decided to first crown him as king before holding onto the royal authority and all decisions Lucian made as king would go through him. The prince didn't know what was wrong but after 5 years he found that his uncle disregarded his decisions and made his own plans to seize the throne of the Von Hafter family and the Wune Kingdom.
The prince abruptly found his castle surrounded by knights and peasants who called for him to be dethroned. As he didn't know why they would do such a thing, he went to talk with them before finding out that taxes were at an all time high and the daughters of some individuals went missing after being visited by knights wearing emblems of the castle, meaning his personal guards. The prince was shocked when suddenly his uncle appeared behind him and detained him. He was sent out into crowd as his uncle stated his various "crimes" and people asked for his execution. It was here his uncle broke his expressionless face and had a great big smirk.
It clicked suddenly that it was all the doings of the uncle. The prince tried to reason with the mob but to no avail while the true culprit was laughing silently. The people decided to exile him after listening to Carmine and where they all wanted him to be king as he had helped them over the years standing up to the "tyrant" prince. Due to this, Lucian was stripped of his title of king and the name Von Hafter. He was to be exiled to the Barren Mountains, a treacherous stretch of mountains and forests that hides ferocious beasts that have magic and battle qi.
He was lifted onto an already prepared carriage with two guards, one guiding the carriage and one watching his moves. On the way, the carriage suddenly bounced upwards and the prince tried to escape using this chance when the guard was surprised. He failed as he barely reached the carriage door before having a fist pushing onto his chest. He was pushed back and hit his head on the carriage wall, dieing from the impact which allowed Liu Shen to take over his body.
'What a pitiful young man. He hadn't even had the chance to live to an old age before he got betrayed by a person he thought he could trust. In fact, it is probably because of Carmine that Reinold mysteriously died. Sigh, now it looks like I have to live his exiled life now.'
'Wait?! Wasn't it said there were ferocious beasts capable of using magic and battle qi in those mountains?! How am I going to survive, this body doesn't even have any fighting capabilities.'
[Ding! Host found.]
'What was that? It felt like someone said something straight into my brain, how weird.'

[1 day rations - rations that include 3 balls of rice wrapped with bamboo leaves. One contains dried pork, another contains mushrooms and duck meat, while the 3rd contains half a duck egg with pork and mushrooms. It also includes a pouch filled with water that can last a day.
Summoning ticket - ticket needed to summon Warriors.
Village creation token - a token that allows you to designate a empty area and creates a low tier village with buildings made of straw and wood.
Weak antidote pill - a pill that can cure you of a low level poison.
100 miles teleporting talisman - a talisman that when activated teleports the user anywhere within 100 miles radius. Activates with a thought from the user as the energy needed for teleporting is already stored in the talisman.
All Conquering Emperor Mantra - a SSR rank cultivation technique that allows the user to cultivate magic and battle qi. By conquering, you gain an aura that suppresses those in your presence. As the Host's level is too low, some information is excluded.

'I see. The status page looks very organized, let's look at the others section. Let me see what the shop looks like.'

As the System Shop opened, Liu Shen saw what the shop had to offer. It had a search bar on top followed by items being split into categories below it. The categories are weapons, artifacts, pills, talismans, cultivation techniques, battle techniques, spells, blueprints, and miscellaneous items. He first decided to see the most expensive items that are in the shop. First on the list were a bunch of weapons that cost 100 billion points. Those weapons were all labeled in question marks and only had a silhouette of their weapon type. All other categories also had the items filled with question marks.
'Huh. System, why are these items filled with question marks? Why can't I see what they are and what their names are?'
[That is because the Host's level of cultivation is low. Those items are also Heaven defying items and will give the Host unwanted attention as knowing the names and images of these items will allow many powerful beings to sense you. Through having knowledge of those items, those beings will come to rip out your memories and kill you in the process of doing so.]
'Holy Fuck!! That is scary! Good thing I can't see those top tier items now or else they might just come to kill me before I got to explore this world. I've already died once, I don't plan to die again anytime soon. Let me check the Warriors Summoning Platform then.'
[Ding! Opening Warriors Summoning Platform!]
The Warriors Summoning Platform unfolded before Liu Shen's mind. The platform had an ancient and regal feeling to it and on top of the platform stood a tall blue swirling portal that sometimes discharged lightning in its surroundings. In front of the platform is a ticket booth to place summoning tickets.
A plaque on the ticket booth explains the rarity of the summons which goes from SSR(Super Special Rare), SR(Special Rare), R(Rare), and N(Normal). N rarity means the ones summoned range from normal to top tier soldier class warriors. R rarity means the ones summoned are just recently promoted generals or beginner strategists that never made it into the history of the Three Kingdoms. SR rarity means the ones summoned are named generals or strategists that have some renown to their name but are not the strongest compared to the heroes of that era. SSR rarity means that the ones summoned are the leaders of their kingdoms and their strongest vassals. Also, some summons that are just as strong as those vassals but are not affiliated with those emperors are included in this rarity.
'Hmm. The rarities make sense. I have a ticket right now, should I use it? Probably not right now. I'll use it once the carriage reaches the foot of the Barren Mountains. I don't know if the two knights are going to kill me once we reach and blame my death on a wild beast. If they leave right after we reach, I'll just wait until they're gone to summon a Warrior. If they plan on killing me, I'll just have to use the 100 miles teleporting talisman to run away and see if the summoned Warrior can do anything about the situation. Oh right, where was I? The System functions, I believe. Hmm, for Inventory there's no need to check as it's very clear on what it does. Let's see. System, do you have any quest for me?'
[Yes Host. Opening Quest!]
[Beginner Quest - Reach the foot of the Barren Mountains and create a village to start the Main Quest.

'Pretty good starting quest. The rewards are also pretty good. The more System Points the better and with the voucher I can use it to have any Normal ranked item for free. With the village creation, it looks like the main quest will be about making a kingdom. I can't wait to reach the Barren Mountains. I wonder how much longer the journey is.'
The carriage came to a sudden halt and Liu Shen's thoughts came to a stop. The knight across him stood up, put on his helmet and took out his sword from his sheath.
'Fuck!! Looks like they are planning to kill me here. System, access inventory and place a 100 miles teleporting talisman in my hand.'
[Understood Host. Placing talisman in hand.]
A talisman suddenly was in the palms of Liu Shen and he began to calm down. Suddenly, there was a knocking on the carriage door. It resounded loudly as the carriage was silent, saved for the calm breaths of its inhabitants.
