Inna's gaze raked through every word for the umpteenth time, trying to make proper sense of the puzzled words, and when it still didn't make sense to her, she picked up her pen and decided to respond to the letter.

When her etiquette lesson teacher gave her some breaks, a few friends she made randomly brought the idea about how they write letters to their pen friends to while away time, and Inna discovered the same technique was what helped her gain Geoffrey's whereabouts when she seeked her confrere for help.

Curious, she decided to test it for the first time, and already made up her mind that no one would respond to her letters regarding if vampires existed, since whoever might receive it would assume she was mentally unstable to ask something like this, but shockingly, the bird returned the next day with a response from an unknown compatriot, and they've been exchanging letters ever since.
