#Chapter110
Veronica and Piet stand watch at the entrance of the church, while Adele and Peggy try and make David comfortable and stop the bleeding. David’s arm is badly torn and the bone is shattered just above the elbow, both of them know that if he does not receive medical attention soon, there is a very real possibility of David dying from loss of blood. And although they are not medically trained they both know that in order for David to survive, he will in all probability lose his right arm.
Amos’s voice rings across the space that divides them.
/"Piet van Zyl, Veronica Strydom, come out now and I will spare your friends, for I desire you both more than anything else, your death will appease me. And I give you my word that your friends and wife will be spared./"
Before Piet can respond the Demon swings around and turns on Amos snarling, its voice reverberating off the walls of the church.
