Bab 391: Christopher’s sour mood

Christopher was in a foul mood, his exasperation and wrath evident. The walls of the study bore witness to his inner turmoil, his mind replaying Pamela's venomous remarks. He couldn't believe that Pamela had dared speak ill of his mother. Her words, referring to Gloria as a "pathetic mother," rang in his thoughts, fueling his rage.
