Bab 140: She Would Still Die Even With Nine Lives

The pit collapsed!

In an instant, terrified screams rang out.

Su Ying was the first to react. She pulled the rope from her wrist, but there was very little vegetation around the slope. The grappling hooks on the rope couldn't hold onto anything.

The collapsed mountain of earth smashed hard on her face, and more people fell from above, screaming in shock.

"Help, help!"

Su Ying's body crashed into the people below. She steadied herself and quickly stood up. She looked around and tried to think of a way to leave, but the pit was like a whirlpool that sucked them deep into the ground.

Su Ying raised her head and saw someone pouring something into the pit.

Su Ying dodged to one side and sniffed it. Her face clouded over. It was tung oil.

Those people wanted to burn them to death!

Soon, her guess was confirmed, and a torch was thrown in.

The bodies of those who had been drenched with oil were instantly set ablaze.
