➜ [ Moments Later ]
Takes Place Before The Chapter: Reality Is Just An Illusion
Two people stood beside a female doctor, anxiously waiting as she delicately cradled a blonde baby in her hands.
"We can officially confirm that the gender is indeed a girl," the doctor announced, breaking the tension in the room.
Overwhelmed with emotion, the woman on the bed began to cry tears of joy. She gazed lovingly at her baby and whispered in awe, "Oh my word! Oh my word, she's beautiful... I really hope her father will love her as much as I do."
"I'm sure he will," the doctor reassured.
With a hint of doubt in her voice, the mother replied, "I would disagree with you there. He really wanted a boy, which is why we kept asking if there was a chance the gender check could have been wrong."
"Well," the doctor smiled, "when people hold their baby for the first time, it often changes their entire perspective on things."
"I hope you're right," the mother whispered, her tears still flowing.
Just then, the father entered the room, his anticipation palpable. His gaze fixated on the precious bundle in the doctor's arms.
"Is that him? Is that little Lee?" the father asked, excitement lacing his words.
"It's a her," the doctor corrected gently.
Confusion washed over the father's face as he processed the unexpected news. But as he looked down at his daughter, a genuine smile spread across his face, replacing any disappointment.
"I LOVE HER!" he exclaimed joyfully, his heart overflowing with unconditional love.
Years later, the same joyful scene played out on a television screen. A six-year-old watched intently as the image of a proud father morphed into a far different reality.
"This is the image of Myna's father, taken two days before he went to court and lost the case of raping his daughter," the reporter's voice explained.
The six year old child turned to his left and jumped at the sight of ThrowUp gurgling besides him at the footage then ThrowUp turned to him and smiled.
The child looked down seeing the omnitrix faceplate blink between green and white which made ThrowUp take note of it so he ran into a corner.
Marcy jumped up and down with excitement before showing her phone to Katherine.
"Do you have the tickets?!" Katherine rushed over and snatched the phone. "Oh my god! Yes!"
"But there's a problem with the tickets, two of them are for inside the venue and the other one is for outside."
"Seriously?" Katherine groaned.
"Yes."
"I specifically told you to make sure you were selecting the right tickets."
"I know, but those deluxe tickets are so difficult to get! You have to tap the screen 100 times and it keeps moving around."
"Ugh!" Katherine sighed in frustration.
Cameron opened the trunk of the Sienna and crawled his way to the nearest seat, collapsing onto it.
"But don't worry, the tickets clearly state that only one of us has to be outside."
"That's true, but actually... now that I think about it," Katherine turned to Cameron, "Hey! Do you know Myna?!"
"Who?!" Cameron replied, clearly exhausted.
Katherine turned back to Marcy. "Yep! We're finally going to see Myna in person!"
➜ [ Moments Later ]
A crowd of people had gathered outside Myna's white tent, patiently waiting for the large screen above them to broadcast the show happening inside.
Katherine, dressed in a cute, oversized black jean jacket and a violet dress skirt adorned with a picture of Myna singing into a microphone, exclaimed, "Well, Cameron, this is where we say goodbye to you!"
"Here?!" Cameron looked around at the mostly male crowd. "Are some of these people even the same age as Myna?"
Marcy, wearing a white cotton top, a red and black plaid shirt tied around her waist, and knee-high jean shorts, replied, "If you really think about it, I'm not even close to Myna's age, but here I am."
Just go inside," Cameron urged, a hint of impatience in his voice.
The hall was packed with enthusiastic young fans, eagerly anticipating the appearance of their idol, Myna Yim.
Katherine raised her voice to be heard over the crowd. "This place is so overwhelming! It's like she's already won an Oscar the way they're chanting her name!"
Marcy chuckled wryly. "Well, considering the number of times she's escaped assault, I wouldn't be surprised if she earned one."
Excited murmurs erupted through the tent as someone exclaimed, "Here she comes!"
Myna Yim entered, instantly commanding the attention and adoration of the crowd. She began to share her harrowing story, recounting a terrifying encounter with a group of boys and her brave escape from their clutches.
Cameron glanced around, noting the predominantly female fanbase. "Wow, lots of fangirls here. Don't see many fanboys around. Do they even have a name for themselves? Wait a minute." He paused, a realization dawning on him. "As an alien-changing hero, I don't have to be here. I'm sure my team and I could find a better experience elsewhere."
A guard intercepted a man as he made his way towards the exit. "Hey, don't even think about it! If you cause any trouble, I won't hesitate to intervene, sir!"
The man brushed off the guard's warning, pushing him to the ground. "I must see her! I want to see Myna! My Myna! I love her!" Despite the guards' attempts to apprehend him, the man skillfully evaded their grasp, leaping onto one guard's head before scaling the top of the tent.
"Yes!" Cameron pumped his fist in victory, drawing shocked glances from the crowd. Ignoring the attention, he made his way towards Sienna.
[ Inside the white Tent ]
"And then I thought it was all over. I thought I was going to lose everything. But somehow, someway, I made it out," Myna Yim shared, her voice filled with emotion.
Some members of the audience looked up, their expressions contorting into surprise.
Marcy's eyes widened as she nudged Katherine. "Wait, are flies supposed to be that big?"
Curiosity piqued, Katherine followed Marcy's gaze and caught sight of a figure climbing onto the stage. "Actually, I think that might be a person," she remarked.
Suddenly, the tent roof tore open, and a man plunged onto the stage, landing right next to Myna Yim. Reacting quickly, she kicked him away, but he persisted, crawling towards her.
"Help!" Myna Yim cried out, her voice filled with urgency.
At that moment, Marcy and Katherine nodded at each other and bolted towards the stage alongside a group of other crowd members. Just then, the tent flung open, and Static-Brain appeared at the doorway.
"There's no need for concern, none of you need to worry," proclaimed Static-Brain as he strode purposefully towards Myna Yim. "Rest assured, I shall ensure the safety of this person whom you all hold so dear. While I find it somewhat futile to concern oneself with a simpleton such as her, I have no reason to question the intellect of others. It's imprudent to do so, for anything beneath me is ultimately inferior and lacks comprehension."
Eight people shouting the same thing, "I LOVE YOU MYNA! I WANT YOU!" Sprinted through the openway made by the genuis alien. The alien turned around after noticing his mistake and sighed.
"I really miscalculated this... oh well!" A splurge of electricity fired from without
Static-Brains head shooting a bolt against each individual.
"Oh No?!" A fan exclaimed when he saw the tent begin to collapse after one of the bolts struck an important build.
Katherine threw her arms to the side teleporting besides Myna Yim, she clapped her palms together and both herself, Myna and the psychotic man were encased in a black bubble that teleported to the outside.
The bubble fell down as the tent collapsed behind them. Katherine pinned the man down and was then met with a rain of cheers.
➜ [ Moments Later ]
Myna Yim offered to give Katherine a grand tour of the backstage while featuring her as a guest on her vlog. Cameron stayed back in the Sienna with Marcy watching the vlog.
The short strung of exposure Katherine had was able to spread her name across the entire world almost. All the news channels were speaking about Katherine Lenardo and her incredible powers that come from alien heritage instead of broken cells.
"This is so weird." Katherine revealed.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean like you're Myna Yim, and you offered me to feature in your vlog."
"I'm the one that's supposed to be feeling weird, I'm literally in the presence of an upcoming heroine."
"Wellll, I wouldn't say upcoming. I'm actually already a heroine."
"Shut... up..." Myna paused. "So is this like a reveal thing? Have you been a secret hero this entire time?!"
"I'm more of underground and in the shadows." Katherine and Myna entered the entrance of the deluxe set. "Wow! I can't believe I'm actually inside the deluxe set room!"
"I'm guessing you're already in the know of this being my story room."
"Damn. Your life must be so much fun."
"It really isn't, I would die to be like you someone who is famous for their own special talent instead of what other people have given you."
"You're referring to those rapists huh?"
"Yeah."
"Don't stress about that, the fact that you were able to escape them is what is considered a special talent to many little girls who weren't able to escape."
"If you put it that way, I'm kinda like my own superhero." Myna smiled and pulled out her phone. "Superhero selfie?"
"Superhero selfie."
[ Meanwhile ]
Cameron looked at his phone viewing Katherine's statues which had a picture of her and Myna.
"She must be having the time of her life right now." Cameron acknowledged.
"Please don't tell me you're jealous of the amount of fame your cousin has been receiving."
"Yeah no... I think you're the one who's jealous- actually you should be the one who's jealous because you're practically playing background."
"Ouch! Look at you getting personal, Mister people care way more about the things I can turn into instead of me."
"Super personal... I wonder how-"
A knock on the door caught the attention of the two. Marcy lowered her window. "How can I help you?" A ton of people stood outside the Sienna.
"Where is you know who? We got a lead from someone saying that she arrived in this vehicle."
"That's my cue to get the hell out of here." Cameron said as he moved his way out the Sienna and toward anywhere.
"My bad dude, you know who, isn't here and didn't come from this vehicle."
"Then this was pointless."
"Wait!"
"What?"
"She might not be here, but I was able to steal some of her clothes so if you're looking for something related to 'youknowwho' I've got it for the price of 30."
"Deal!"
[ Back at the concert hall]
"Eye spy a fly!" EyeZ shot a beam at the fly and missed. "Maybe next time. Eye just have to keep trying."
The alien stopped their game of eye spy when noticing three boys scratching in one of the concert bins
"Eye don't think that's healthy- why do Eye care again? Eye don't, got it."
One of the boys pulled out a picture of Myna, the other men tackled him down and tried reaching for the picture.
"That's a bit weird. They must be die hard fans or... they are one of those people."
The three started wrestling for who would be the one to scratch in the bin and find another Myna Yim photo. EyeZ shot forward a green ray of energy at the bin making it explode after impact.
"Eye believe, eye just helped you guys out there, that addiction you have is bad."
The three charged down EyeZ - Two of them didn't make it anywhere near the alien since he lasered them down with his eye beams, the third one made the most progress and jumped at the eye alien only to be frozen in place.
"Myna Loves! I love HER!"
"Myna doesn't even know you, relax dude."
"She does! She does! We dated, she told me she loved so many times and even said she would never let me go and then she left..."
"Dude you okay?"
After the tour ended Katherine and Myna Yim went to Myna Yim's dressing room which was located inside a large bus not so far from the concert hall.
"This is the bus that weird looking mutant guy broke into right?"
"Yep. I don't know how he found his way into my bus, I guess my people must have failed in making it strong."
"They should try harder."
"You wanna do some dress up?"
"Dress up?"
"Yeah! We can try out all these different clothes I have together."
"You're willing to share your clothes with me?"
"Yeah... you're pretty cute so it shouldn't be that much of a shocker."
"Oh... um... thanks I guess?"
Myna started the fashion show. She dressed in three different clothings and all three Katherine loved, it was as if she picked the three best clothing items that fit her and tried them on to get a good reaction.
Katherine took the second turn and after trying out three outfits of her own, Myna suggested she wear one of her favourite outifts. Katherine wore the sparkling outfit and Myna smiled with joy.
"How do I look?"
"Y-you... you look great..."
"It's a bit tight."
Myna picked herself up from her seat and went over to Katherine so she could help loosen the dress a bit. She stood a bit close to Katherine to the point her nose was almost touching hers and moved her arms to the back of Katherine.
"Um!-" Katherine shoved back. "-You know I think I got this one!"
"You sure you don't want me to loosen it for you?"
"Yep! yes! definitely!"
"I thought I was your favourite influencer? Don't you love your favourite influencer?"
"Yeah I do."
"You love me right? I'm your favourite influencer after all right?"
"Are you possessed or something?"
"Possesse- damnit!" Myna screamed sending out an energy wave that pushed Katherine out the bus. "Fuck! Fuck! Why can't I just get a girl that likes me! Why does it always have to be a boy-"
A green energy beam shot Myna straight in the eye. Katherine turned around to see Micromech flying towards her.
"That Women Is Evil!!!"
"I am so confused right now." Katherine revealed.
A force of energy pushed out from Myna Yim toppling the bus over and shooting Katherine back. MicroMech flew over the force and shot forward a barrage of beams.
The alien moved around Myna shooting a blast of beams making it difficult for Myna to counter back. This little strategy worked well up until the watch went offline making Cameron an easy target.
Just before Myna Yim could release a burst of energy; Katherine teleported in front of Cameron and shielded him with the dark sphere. The sphere morphed back into a small ball that was manipulated to gut Myna in the stomach.
"Those aliens on the news are you..." Myna noticed. "This is good..."
"What are you talking about?" Katherine raised a question guarding her brother. "Why is this good for you?"
"Because you know my little secrets which are my attraction to the opposite gender and this whole rogue love zapping thing I have."
"I didn't know that."
"I kinda did." Cameron raised his hand. "One of those dudes told me that he was being forced to do what he was doing because of the love he had for you."
"I know the secret of your brother over there being the alien heroes, maybe we can make a deal. If you keep quiet about my thing, I'll be sure to stay quiet about yours."
"The flashbang."
"It's with Marcy."
"Fuck... fine... it's a deal, but-"
"-no buts. If you ruin my career I'll ruin both of yours. Those alien heroes already have a lot of haters online imagine how worse it will be for your family when they know the identity of the alien heroes."
"I said it was a deal."
A news crew came sprinting into the the battlefield and surrounded Myna Yim.
Myna Yim turned to the camera crew with a smile, "You missed it! Katherine over here just helped me with a monster thing that wanted to steal my bus."
