Tulis ulasanDecent novel maybe a 3.5 overall but the way the translator disappears for months at a time and provides no updates telling us the novel will be stopped for a while is why I am giving it a 1 star as this person has done this 4-5 times so far
The MC is a horrible person, really. He knows that if a person dies in game it messes with their real soul and he just calmly watches his guildmates die and be tortured over and over and then he finally appears at the last moment like a childish hero to save everyone who has suffered for days
Membuka SPOILERthis has been a great book. very well written love the story line and the mc can't wait for more chapters. hopefully they will come soon the anticipation is killing me
Maybe the MC should use his skill on this novel, but even then it's probably still going to be 1 star.
So it started out good, I don't mind the clichés much, can't be original now days as there are an unimaginable amount of stories out there so you will have to expect these cliché scenarios being used, we should base the story on how these clichés scenarios are used and do they give meaning and interest to the story/plot. The story for what it is meant for (time waster) is ok. What isn't ok, is that the author decided to write a story with a gaming genre but the numbers that make up the way the game is played don't make any sense, to the point that it seems like the author just used it to increase word count. IMO one reason the gaming genre is interesting is because we can equate our efforts and strength in a number that we can see, the whole point of this is that the larger the number the better we are compared to other people (usually). The author decided from the very start that these numbers don't equate to anything and he can change what they mean at will to validate their plot. Some examples would be: 1. the amount of exp for the mc to get to level 1 from 0; 5% was around 7 mobs, I think it was a line or a couple lines after stating this number, the mc had to kill a "few thousand" (word for word) of the same mob to level up. 2. How the mana stat is calculated at the start, it changed 3 times and I am assuming it would do so more down the line if I continued reading. 3. How damage is calculated, base damage wasn't stated at the very start, so I assume it's so that the author can decide how much damage the mc can do, this was shown in one of the earlier chapters where an item suddenly, without any proof of why or how, increased the damage the mc was doing by nearly 1000%, from requiring 8-9 hits for a mob to suddenly one shotting them. Unfortunately due to these glaring miscalculations, ignorance and total abandonment of the numbers that make up how the game works, well I would suggest that the author re-write this without the gaming genre and just make it a fantasy world, at least then we don't require any numbers to make sense of fighting situations or comparisons between the mc and other characters.
Wanted to like it for the concept, read the deus ex in chapter 33 and couldn't keep reading. I can barely accept errors in the stats and lvling math, even missing words or cliches aren't that much of an issue, but when you have a lvl 2 fight a lvl 100 and survive for more than 5 seconds for no reason I can't bother to keep reading. It takes like 10 days for a top player to lvl up once, a lvl 100 monster would be at the level of players around 3 years later, without mentioning that lviing speed usually slows down. I would give it a 1 star, but at least it's getting constant updates and the pace of the story isn't boring nor too fast.
if you want to read all the possible cliches that could ever happen, read this. the entire story is basically built on cliches upon more cliches. just reading the first chapters is enough to predict the entire plot progression of the novel. there are too many novels of this kind that it's getting really revolting to even read the first chapter.
So he has a 100% chance to upgrade 1 step. Why not use it a few times? So a level 1 equipment can be a level 10 equipment?
Story up to where ai have read, is great, got me hooked ,unfortunately they haven't updated!!! What da frags man!! 🤬MC is the usual, the harem possibility...doable,(possibly 3-4 girls so far). Hope they continue.
the quality of this novel is really bad, either the Author or the Translator (maybe both) didn't learn Maths, there are numerous errors involved with numbers. the skills are very inconsistent, the values are changing repeatedly. I.e. he has an AOE skill with a 2m radius. he is able to hit 30 1.4m tall wolfes with ever skill usage🤷♂️ his equip is being forgotten repeatedly, and the lvl system doesn't make any sense...the characters are stupid, predictable, and the same like any other regression game novel... mc got killed/backstabbed by best friend and his own girlfriend, revived, has a strong ability, his family was rich but lost all the money, parents dead, sister is deadly ill and he need to heal her, and -what a wonder- she isn't his biological sister. The story builds fully on the curing of his sister. she has a strange lung disease and get treated with chemo therapy. after the treatments she felt better, even if chemo therapy is solely used for cancer. most patients are feeling more tired and exhausted after therapy, so I don't believe she felt better after her therapy...I cant say anything about update stability, so to be fair I gave 5 stars for update stability.overall, I would say you shouldn't read this novel, if it's not your first full dive game novel, because it will feel very familiar. you also shouldn't read this novel, if you don't like inconsistent plot or extreme unreasonable "young master" side characters
pretty much what I have come to expect from this app. another garbage money grab novel full of inconsistencies and illogical designs.
For the autor: Use the skill Turn Waste into Treasure (SSS) on your novel please ^^ Maybe that way you will get better reviews. Too obvious... but why must there always be a sick sister... is it a contractual obligation with the webnovel authors? If you don't do it, won't they publish you?
just bringing the stars down to where it should be so people do not get to big expectations on this one
Welp. First off, MC is pretty generic but, for the most part he's fine. Villians and side characters are as generic and one dimensional as possible. The plot is cliche and messy. There is an unforgivable amount of plot armor and "coincidences". Honestly I barely read 20 chapters, but what I read can not be excused.
No idea how this mess of a novel got such a high rating. The main character and side characters are bland while the villains are both bland and stupid. Furthermore it's filled with clichés and plotholes. Stay away from this dumpster fire. Meanwhile I'll rate this 1 star, to counter the people who give every novel 5 stars, no matter how bad it is.
I can't even accurately put into words how bad this novel is, don't even try to understand anything with numbers in it, it's not even a mistranslation it's just the author changes them completely between chapters, characters are shallow, dialogue is mostly just "ong Mc is so awesome!" if you wanna read this you'd better just shut your brain off cuz it'll only get in yur way
I’m going to put exactly as much effort into writing this review as the author put into writing this crime against literature: absolutely none. Avoid this pile of suck and fail at all costs.
Decent, not a balanced game though. It's too much plot armor to enjoy the novel for some people probably as well. I don't mind it that much since I got used to reading to stuff that's worse than this. Spoiler?: I think that it wouldn't be as annoying if his talent instead of being RNG , it would be level/experience based, like his level, so he would get to choose which item gets the x3 upgrade effect, x2 effect etc. That way the MC would have to choose if it's worth using the saved up x3 modifier on specific items. More brain and planning~?,less RNG.
lost few brain cells reading this i wont recommond it for fan base of MMO or game Genre fan for those with extra brain cells go a head enjoy it or lose it hahah
Membuka SPOILERYou guys should know, that there are many novels like this one. And MC he thought he returned to the past. wake up stupid MCs. You're in different timeline, not in your main timeline. They become strong enough to have revenge but, they never got their real revenge.
Membuka SPOILERIf you’re looking to read a game novel, this ain’t it chief. Honestly, when I was reading this novel, it seemed like the author just woke up one day after a long night of partying, hungover and still a bit drowsy. A lightbulb suddenly lit up in their head, their brain was telling them, ‘Hey! Why don’t you write a novel, a game novel’. And so they did, they slowly got up from the cold hard floor littered with red plastic cups and empty beer bottles, dragging their body over to their computer, they started to type away, completely unaware of the bits of mysterious white powder covering the area around their nose. They started by writing down whatever cliches they could think of, and they made the protagonist and the antagonists while they were at it. The protagonist is fine for the most part, but the antagonists are on another level of stupid, as if the only thought in their mind is steal and loot gear, basically just throw-away villains. So then the author kept clacking away on their keyboard with their fingers coated with a nice layer of cheeto dust. Still hungover, the author couldn’t think clearly at all, their head was throbbing so using their arms as a pillow, they slowly relaxed and drifted off to the land of dreams. In there, they saw a mini version of themselves holding a mini shovel. The mini author begin to dig holes in the feild that was labled ‘the plot’. And after digging god knows how many holes, the mini author left and came back shortly after, this time holding a few signs in their hands. They planted the signs near the holes, one for each, and marked them as ‘plot hole 1’, ‘plot hole 2’, ‘plot hole 3’ and so on. The author then woke up and after adding a few more details to their novel, they slowly admired it, thinking to themselves, ‘Boy have I created a masterpiece’, then promptly hit ‘publish’.
muggle fooled by cover 1, looking for brothers, this is a magic game not FPS. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
I'm really enjoying it. The story drew me in and before I knew it I was already to the latest chapter. To the author keep up the good work I really enjoy it.
Give the story a chance before listening to nay-sayers!!! The reviews aren't lying about the plot holes!! However, if you don't dwell on it, I think that the reader would enjoy this story. This is the first web novel I've actually read up to date. I usually get bored and drop the story eventually. The MC is very likable, especially if you like overpowered characters. The antagonists and cannon fodder characters are annoying but the supporting characters around the MC are cool. Overall, I recommend it
