Tulis ulasanI picked this up because I loved the dynamic of the leads but I ended up skipping most chapters. Just alot of characters that took up the story that I had zero interest in. There are large large sections w almost no interaction between the leads. The end felt rushed and uneventful. The book should be the runaway bride or something because there definitely wasn't a seduction.
Membuka SPOILEROne would think : "It must end at the 100th chapter!" And then the floor falls under you after the end of the first volume, and you look back after everything, wondering : "What did I just read? This was fun." At first silly / kinda serious / heads are rolling now, but very unorthodox yandere romcom? Incredible world building and engaging, very confusing, lore? Welcome to the deep end!
this rating is for volume 1 as I really liked how the story developed between the two girls. I haven't purchased volume 2,3,4 as I didn't like the MC decision to just dump everything on what blake said to her. it was the dumbest thing ever done by her and it was so cruel to rachel. i would have purchased volume 2 right away if the story would have stick with two leads. i don't want to spend money on reading about adventures of MC and blake. and a grief bound rachel. honestly i loved the novel but ending of volume 1 disappointed me. if someone has read vol2,3 and 4 and can give a brief synopsis of what happens to rachel, I would appreciate that

This novel had a lot of potentialā¦ it truly did but the MC is just horribly written in my opinion. One of the most fundamental aspects of a novel is the growth of the main character, however this novel ignores that. The MC is dense to the point of the reader wanting to rip their eyes out. The MC flees the county, with the stories villian, after only one conversation. ONE conversation was all it took for her to throw away 6 months of building with the female love interest. Oh, also they flee in one day, no plan or anything, just wing it bro (spoiler: it goes horribly wrong, shocker). To make matters worse, she completely TRAMUATIZES the female love interest before she leaves after promising her & her father that she would never betray or hurt Rachel. I only read this novel for Rachel, she was the only character written correctly in my opinion. Also, the grammar and language barrier ruins the immersion of the novel and it really needs a rewrite. There are no use of quotations to denote who is speaking and there are often misused words to describe situations. I could make this review longer but, Iām still annoyed by this novel atm so Iāll leave it here.
Membuka SPOILEREver since I read the Webtoon version I was delighted that in just 20 chapters, this story had left a taste in my mouth of wanting more. I was happy to find out that the Webtoon was an adaptation, so I rushed to read the original product, day after day, each chapter intrigued me even more and as someone who is also writing a fantasy (GL) story, I am very grateful for having the opportunity to read this incredible work, it gave me several insights into how I could direct events in my story and create interesting plot-twists. I had read many web-novels before, but I never finished any, so thank you author for taking my first time >///< jokes aside, I just wanted to make it clear that you have become one of my inspirations and as a reader I could not be more satisfied with a wonderful story. Sincerely: Your Brazilian reader ~
Reading the first volume (up to chapter 53) I was interested in the premise and the setting, however I find myself very perplexed by the personality of the protagonist and the development of the story. Leriane, the protagonist, seems completely incapable of formulating a logical thought, starting from the assumption that her life is in constant danger in the future she makes totally random choices in the present. There are literally 2 people she has to pay attention to but she still manages to forget about them or completely ignore their reactions. The second big problem is the narration itself, the protagonist is constantly dragged into perfectly predictable situations (that somehow she has not even calculated) in which she has no real input. This makes her a passive spectator of the plot, being dragged forward by the secondary characters, each of whom, endowed with a very strong and distinct personality, ends up influencing the story in a drastic and discontinuous way and the narration struggles to find a stable rhythm. I would like to point out that English is not my native language and I found myself a bit uncomfortable due to the numerous writing errors, especially those relating to pronouns, an experience which, added to the problems previously listed, definitely put me off the idea of āācontinuing the story.
I decided to pick this back up again and can someone spoil for me when DO THEY KISS ATLEAST OR SOMETHING (I donāt count the kiss where Rachel pulls her in for a kiss in front of the prince)
Membuka SPOILERWho should read and pay for this work? Only those who are in ABSOLUTE despair to read completed Yuri novel, despite its poor quality. 1) It is worth saying right away that the author has absolutely no respect for readers. She obviously does not know English, so she writes in her native language and then uses an online translator. This is not a problem in general, many people do it... But author did not even bother to correct the basic pronouns errors. This is not only disrespectful to readers, but also just stupid!!! Many who could potentially buy this just drop it halfway!!! 2) Our heroine, Leriane, is the most hated character in this story (I would even say on the whole webnovell). She's dumb, naive and useless (but everyone loves her). She's the kind of person who doesn't deserve a happy ending. There was a scene in the book when Leriane was being held hostage and the maids wanted to disfigure her face. My reaction: fair, maybe it will teach her something!!! 3) The story could have been more or less Ok if the author had adhered to the spirit of the first volume. Then it seemed that this was a typical Mary Sue story with dense MC and comedic undertone. But then the author decided that she wanted to write a serious story with all sorts of betrayals, hidden villains, visions of the future and so on... But you can't just WANT to write a masterpiece. That requires talent or a hard work... 4) Most of the story we have a one-sided romance. For most of the story, Leriane feels asexual-aromantic and only at the end she begin to be more proactive. If you are one of those who are satisfied with the fact that high-quality mutual yuri will only be at the end, then Ok. But I prefer that the main couple become an official at least in the middle of the story. If not, then there must be at least passion and tension between them. And I'm not talking about smut. But at least something. But alas. Dense asexual-aromantic, remember?
Beautiful just beautiful Iām honored to read a book this good even though it made throw my phone and fall off my bed in excitement
There were some plot holes and miss gender overall, the story was pretty good. The writing was pretty nice
Great Story, even though there are some writing errors (or translation errors, idk) like sometimes the characters were misgendered (like female characters were referred as men). But overall, I really have enjoyed the experience!
The first few chapters were really interesting until I've reached the 2nd volume that everything became a roller coaster ride. Either way, I've enjoyed every bit of it. Though, I was just a bit confused due to the narration's erratic pronoun changes but eventually, understood it.
From visions, misunderstandings, ambitions and true love comes a journey between 2 women whose lifeās are forever changed. P.S. Itās also an manga! Read on my friendsā!!
Ok, I am still stuck at the synopsis. The title "Seduce the hero's mother" implies that the MC's goal is to seduce the hero's mother. The first line "I am reborn as a minor character and the mother of the main character, the deposed ruler Leriana Ashford." says, MC is the hero's mother. This line" Queen Leriane faces a bleak end. According to the plot, my heroine will sacrifice her life during the rebellion to save her children." implies heroine= Queen Leriane. And this line "Except she won't! Dying at twenty-seven is too soon for me and I'm going to change the tragic plot of this novella." implies, heroine= Queen Leriane= MC. So, MC goal is to seduce the hero's mother, while being the hero's mother and also being the hero's wife? I think I got that right... Pls help me out, I'm kinda bad at english but this doesn't make sense to me at all....
Iāll say one thing, Iāve never spent any amount of funds towards reading a novel, after reading up to chapter 53, this novel has overtaken me so much emotionally and mentally, I immediately spent any funds necessary in order to unlock it in its entirety for me to read. One of the best novels Iāve read in quite a bit of time. Keep up the good work, this novel is magnificent in every aspect! [img=update]
I will not read past volume 1. However volume 1 as a self contained story (ignoring the last few chapters) was so good and genuinely funny that I still have to give high praise.
Best book I read so far. The charactersā¦.I would die of them the fact that I cried and laughed it was a like being in an emotionl rollercoaster. Love it 10/10 every thing was perfect and I made like 3 accounts just to finish it as fast as possible.
Happy ending po ba toh.pag hinde po iiyak Ako gusto ko Makita Silang dalawa na nagkatuluyan sila sa last chapter
So read a little bit ahead on the chapter titles I am some of the beginnings of those chapters and boy when the main character describes in that first chapter on how the novel the East Chi is based on that she read took on a different path that no one expected in such well that is very very true. Spoilers ahead of you donāt want to know So when main character leaves off with the prince, itās two different country as we know, but in the time she somehow gets to where the Windsors are, and during the time she has to break something off her connection to Rachel and her family and Miguel manners first kind of is that that whole relationship development with Rachel is gone because author decides to give her a romance with the common girl. My opinion, it feels like the author decided to do the truth, because she didnāt know how to write continuously with Rachel as the main love while getting to some of the different plot points in her book, such as meeting the Windsors, even though theyāre the enemies of her, Rachelās family, and I guess this is what the illusion alluded to twists and plots the most Raiders donāt take one mentioning the sky world book that the main character fell into
I was enjoying the read up until chapter 48, although I was sure MC was mentally retarted long before that, but i still enjoyed it and was anticipating how the story will further unfold. Only to be hit in the face with a poorly thought out ātwistā. This story could have been something great. One of the most disappointing reads thus far, mostly because I was actually looking forward for what lay ahead. Anyway, I donāt recommend reading this and wasting your time like I did.
the main plot line of the story is pretty interesting. but there are just so many unnecessary things that happened. some of the plot lines could honestly not be included and the story would've been fine
