Bab 1048: A DEAD City Touched By Demons

The sun had barely risen, casting a pale golden light across the landscape. The air was filled with a mix of excitement and sorrow as the werewolf clan gathered near the three ethereal portals leading into Imperilment. 

These portals, grand and shimmering with an otherworldly glow, were the product of Nikky and her team's scientific genius. Their edges pulsed with energy, evidence of the monumental effort it had taken to create them.

The atmosphere was thick with lots of emotion and longing. 

Half of the young werewolves and a select few of the older, more experienced ones had been chosen for this perilous journey. 

They stood in clusters, bidding their loved ones farewell. Some of the farewells were tearful, others stoic, but all were deeply heartfelt. 

A mother knelt down, her eyes glistening with unshed tears as she cupped her son's face in her hands.
