Luckily for him, absorbing the Core of the Greater demon healed him significantly and he was able to advance his power a bit. 

Also, the fraction of law that he absorbed had began its work in his body and it made the world's view a bit more objectifying. 

However, absorbing it and comprehending it fully were two entirely different things. 

Of course, Lenny was not supposed to be capable of absorbing it until he had comprehended it, but he was very abnormal to begin with. 

Lenny had tried many times, but something always felt like it was missing, therefore, holding him back from the comprehension that he was to achieve.
