Bab 29: Chapter 29: Love, Blood, and Fangs

Julia Locke POV:

I took Marcus’s face between my hands and pressed my mouth to his again. I felt the warmth of his skin and points of his stubble against my palms, and they just made me kiss him deeper. To take in his other feels, his tastes, and to share mine with him.

I don’t know what made me want Marcus this way. I had always thought he was handsome, but I hadn’t considered pursuing him romantically or even s******* until now.

But this time was different.

This wasn’t the argument of vampire hunting vs. not vampire hunting.

This was the argument of loneliness vs. companionship.

And companionship was something we both needed.

Marcus agreed. I felt his warm hands on my shoulders, and he pulled me closer as he leaned into our kiss.
