Bab 39: Chapter 39: Moving On

There was a muffled thwack as a pillow made contact with the side of Desmond’s head. He stirred once, but didn’t get up right away hoping that if he laid there long enough his assailant would leave. Again another thwack came and then another until finally Desmond reached up and yanked the pillow free from Ryan’s hands. After successfully disarming him, Desmond sat up and glared at Ryan.

Just as always, Ryan burst into laughter at Desmond’s disheveled appearance and less than happy expression. It was always the same routine with them. Any time Ryan wanted to wake him up, he found his way into his room and berated him with a pillow. While Ryan still found it to be hilarious, Desmond was not amused by it. Anymore he especially wasn’t amused by the invasion. The first couple of times, he went as far as to toss the pillow across the room in annoyance.
