Bab 17: Chapter 17
The sun is barely beginning to peek into the horizon, now with a huge group of novices with me, I have Aphine warp to my mansion on the outskirts of Prontera where they can level up more easily. And most importantly without the danger of dying in case something goes wrong.
At the moment I only send Dora, Iksasna and Faenoe with her, I need them to level up quickly so they can help us defend the castle since at the moment there are only 8 people left in the castle including me, so I can't do much today anymore, only help to defend the castle.
I already distributed the armor to everyone, one thing that surprised me a bit is that apparently it adapts to the body of the person who wears it, if I had known that, I would have forged better armor instead of going for one of more general use, since the armor that I did you just have to put it over your clothes and that's it, not to mention that I had modified the space in the chest area for the women of the group. I should have used it on me or made Akhene use it. I feel like I wasted my time on unnecessary work...
Another curious thing that happened was when Alessia used it, at first it was normal but when I finished distributing everything she was wearing her bikini again, thinking that she hadn't liked it or something was wrong, I asked her what was wrong.

"To tell the truth, I just designed these quickly, as you know we don't have much time so I couldn't do something more elaborate, when we have more time I'll make better armor for everyone." It's a surprise that this happens, but there are more important things to do, I see how everyone begins to modify their armor to their original designs some leave it as it is, now that I think about it, can I create chest, waist and hip armor independently and can it be equipped? I wanted to keep talking to her for a bit, since I realized that I was acting like an idiot by ignoring them, but the orcs had other ideas and decided to attack us, so they all start to go to their positions and start to defend the castle.
It is strange how the orcs attack, first they attack with very small groups of at most 10 and as time progresses they increase until they can reach hundreds, then at dusk they begin to attack with small groups again only to increase until dawn, I don't understand what they want to achieve with this too, it doesn't seem like they want to explore or something, they just run towards the walls and start hitting it.
If we don't do anything to them, they stay there hitting the wall without achieving anything, or if someone stands on them on the wall they try to hit him with their weapons, although it will be difficult with a wall at least 8 meters above them, but they not stop trying.
In addition, they are very stupid, since we opened the door and the orcs did not go to it, they were still in the place where they were hitting the wall, so my trap that I prepared inside failed, although I should not let my guard down, it could be that they are all stupid or just some, no doubt there must be some intelligent ones if they can forge weapons.
Even when I left the gate they didn't attack me, I walked towards them and nothing, and I know they saw me since they even dodged me to try to get closer to the wall, it wasn't until I attacked one that he recognized my existence, once I'm done with it, the others continue to attack the wall... perhaps their plan will be for me to let my guard down and take advantage of my carelessness?
It's a good plan to be honest, but it won't work for me, even if they really are that stupid, it's always best to be attentive and prepared for whatever they throw at me, although hopefully if they are that stupid it would make my life easier. I finish off the other orcs and proceed to enter the castle again, closing the door. I start to climb the wall, which was repaired a few hours ago, no one would believe me if I told them that these fortifications were falling down yesterday.
While I inspect the place a bit, deciding to talk a bit more with the girls, I see Lilinaya appear at the castle courtyard, returning with the others, apparently they have finished buying the gems in Morroc, so I stop climbing and proceed to walk towards them. As I get closer I notice blood on their weapons, so they had a problem.
"Are you all okay? Is anyone hurt?" I ask them while I inspect them one by one, from what I see and according to my system they don't have any damage.
"Don't worry master, no one got hurt, but... they attacked us because of me..." Lilinaya says that she has her ears down as she proceeds to tell me what happened.
They first arrived in the north of the city and separated into several groups, Lilinaya, Amisra and Akhene went together in one group and they decided to move west passing through the inn and the civilian district, while Shetinoth and Nysynea used their skills to follow them invisible, while Lusha and Victoria formed another group and advanced for the east passing through the areas of explorers and adventurers.
But apparently someone has guarded the place, as soon as they passed some streets they were already following them, the girls did nothing since at the moment they were only observing them and even if they take care of the inconveniences, surely they had already send someone to warn the rest of their group, so they decided better to complete the mission quickly and leave the place.
After that they began to communicate with each other, and they found out that Lusha's group was not followed and they also didn't detect Nysynea and Shetinoth either, so Lilinaya realized that they were being followed because of her, So she asked Nysynea to describe the ones that were following them and she found out that they were the same ones that tricked her before.
So she began to explain that those people are part of the thieves guild and work under the command of one of the leaders, the strange thing is that that part of the city is not where they should be, so she assumes that there must have been a change in the power structure of the guild
"After that we bought the gems in the market at the south of the city, we had two options: one to use the Lusha warp or the Kafra service, in the end we decided to use the Kafra service and once we transported ourselves to Alberta we would use the Warp to return to the castle in order to prevent them from tracking us easily."
'So they followed her and seeing what she was buying they prepared to rob them on the way back. Well to tell the truth I expected something like this to happen, I would have been more surprised if nothing happened.'
"But we didn't think they were going to attack so quickly, since they weren't all present, although if I had to guess they probably wanted to keep what we were carrying and distribute it among themselves."
"Yes, that's exactly what happened, me and Shetinoth were stalking them from the shadows, when the 3 subjects I was following decided to attack from the right, I immediately chased them and warned the others, to our surprise only those 3 idiots attacked and Shetinoth finished with the 2 that she was following." when Nysynea finishes speaking Lilinaya nods her head and continues
"After Nysy and Sheti killed them, the others noticed the attack and began to attack us from various sides, although they were clearly uncoordinated, so we proceeded to finish them off." It's good that they're already using nicknames for each other, that means that they already get along well with each other, and at least it shows that Lilinaya still has her old personality.
"That's when it happened, a group of people in cloaks appeared in front of us and helped us finish off the thieves, they were surprised to see Lily, and when they had killed everybody in the area, they immediately appeared before her and asked her for instructions." says Lusha using another nickname, hmmm, I can probably use them in the right situation too, I don't think that's my style though.
"I didn't know what to do to tell them, the good thing that another assassin showed up and told me that they would get to the bottom of what happened and apologized to me, after the incident we decided to return immediately, although the most likely thing is that the Assassins Guild must already know about me. And since we use the warp in the city, they should also have an idea of where we are going." Lilinaya said clearly dejected, well it's an advantage that she still has her old personality, so I proceed to pat her head.
'So here you can read the magic or use a spell that allows you to know where a warp is going, it will be good to learn it, besides if I know how it works I could create a way for us not to detect where we are going.'

"Sigh... good job girls, keep it up, don't worry about anything I'll take care of any problem that occurs." so I proceed to pat everyone's heads, which seems to cheer them up a bit even Nysynea who started acting like a tsundere but this time she didn't try to remove my hand.
'So we can only wait for the arrival of the assassins I just hope it's not like the king.' I let them go to rest or continue working and try to complete the palisade connected to the other castle, which is actually simple thanks to the magic with which they make the holes and the inventory where they can quickly put the logs in place.
Although I remember that Victoria need to be reborn too. Once we finish the rebirth procedure, I decide to also change class to keep getting levels. In the end I decide to change my job to Alchemist, since thanks to the large number of orcs I will surely level up quickly and I will be able to complete some jobs during this time. Although when I opened my status window I noticed something extremely strange.
All my stats are only about 70%, plus I no longer regenerate HP and MP, even my movement speed drops.... apparently I can't rely much on system notifications either or at least I don't remember that at any time it warned me of something like this.

I know I tried to see how long it took to get these debuffs to appear but the system didn't even notify me when it happened, besides if I don't pay attention I could end up very badly, If I add the dehydration debuff I would lose almost 50% of my status, so I decide to eat a little and change my job back to alchemist at the moment I think that sleep will not affect me much.
However, once I changed jobs I thought of something and the result was very interesting, I'm in a party with all the girls here and I have one sub-party with the ones I sent to train,so I decided to separate myself and Victoria in one and see if I could share experience being both 'level 1'.
And to my surprise and joy, it worked, that means I don't need to wait for them to level up on their own, in my case my status is at 50% since I changed jobs (well 30% for not sleeping and eating) but that doesn't change that it can take on anything that comes my way, so I can practically carry everyone on me and level them up quickly, or at least at a level sufficient where they can defend themselves.
So I quickly decide my next course of action, I have to take advantage of all the bugs that I can before they even think of patching the system, and by god I need help quickly for what's to come, and having these 100 subordinates will work great to defend the orc attack.
'Hmmm once I make them level I will go and hire more mercenaries in all cities, so I only will have to change to another job and raise them again quickly.' So without thinking about it anymore I decided to try to communicate with Aphine only, to make them all come back and level them up when the orcs attack.
"How do I use this... Private message Aphine?" I say asking, I don't know if it's used like that or not, but to my surprise I hear Aphine's voice almost immediately.

"Nothing important, but bring everyone back. I'll take care of it." ....I hope she was not worried, and I would also like to know if she recibed my message or not since she did not answer me back, but my doubts ended when they began to appear in the castle courtyard.
I just ate an piece of meat with bread, I notice how the debuff didn't completely disappear, I change from medium to low, and this time I only lose 10% of my stats, so they don't disappear easily, I probably need to eat more or something with more content and calories to remove debuffs.
In the meantime I start to switch everyone to my new sub-party, so once the orcs attack I can get them to level up quickly, at least I'll get them into their first job, since I have to go with Akhene to forge the weapons we need, That reminds me we have to make arrows, so I turn to Aleesia and ask her what she needs to make arrows.
"According to my skill, I can make them with almost any material, to tell the truth master, they would change depending on the properties of said material... so what do I do master?" As I remember, the best thing was to create elemental arrows, it is the one that gives the most arrows with the least amount of materials.
By passing the materials I quickly notice a diference, unlike the game here they use wood too, although in a minimal amount, generally 1 trunk and one piece of the material used. A huge advantage is that the archer class can make arrows massively, and clearly showing the middle finger to the Conservation of Mass. The materials that I used is Zargon, Red Blood, Crystal Blue, Wind of Verdure, Green Live and Oridecon to make arrows.

'How come so many fire arrows are forged? why not the other types? And how the hell do you get silver arrows out of that?' Leaving aside my new existential doubts. I decided to make 50 of each one now, except for Oridecon, since I prefer to create weapons with it than waste it on creating arrows. Now I just need to do quivers, In the end I decided to stop thinking about how the skills work, every time I think about it, I feel like my head will start to hurt more and more, so I'd better take the simple explanation: a wizard did it. And no, I was not surprised anymore how the girls put 500 arrows in the quiver that was clearly smaller than the arrows.
After that I got out and went to attack some orcs, after a second attack in the wall the others began to be able to eliminate them by themselves, at that time I decide to finish forging the weapons, which to tell the truth is not much work, so at noon I was done, so when I go back to the wall I noticed how everyone could change jobs again so I finally changed them again and I finally have all my soilders in advanced classes.
'Now I only need to complete my Alchemist job at level 100 to be able to become creator too and finally unlock the 3rd class' although there is something strange that I noticed is that for an hour or 2 the orcs stopped attacking.
While I wonder what this could be due to, I feel the earth vibrating a bit, so I immediately go up to the tower to have a better view, what I saw surprised me and at the same time excited when I saw a huge green tide advancing to our positions, I immediately look and notice that the palisade is complete and they even put an earthen wall on our side to reinforce it and through which we can also climb up to attack from there.
I nod my head and tell them to create another palisade about 40 or 50 meters away, they have to create a second and then create a third one to make another line of defense, since I clearly know that we won't be able to stop an orc attack with that, I even doubt that the wall of stone can stop them, Everyone has already changed their jobs so I don't feel like we're going to have much trouble.
At the moment my mages are hidden inside the towers, whether they're smart or not, I'm not going to show all my cards that quickly, so besides hiding the mages I only have about 50 active soldiers, the rest are resting. At the moment we will only used arrows to attack, although according to what Lilinaya and Nysynea tell me, the orcs are almost ready to start the attack, so they will start attacking today and at the moment the force that is attacking us would be a scouting force, quite huge in my opinion but I fully trust the girls to doubt their report.
In the end, the orcs acted stupidly and illogically, they didn't attack the palisade, since I told them not to go up to it unless they attacked it, so the attack concentrated on both castles, attacking the wall with their axes... Yes they are doing damage but I can repair the walls with my system, and unless they manage to make a hole in a few seconds they will not be able to overcome my system when repairing the wall.

In the end, more than 30,000 Orcs died without being able to do anything and I finally managed to level up and complete my job by changing it to creator, if I continue like this I think it will be better to be changing to several classes and complete them before moving on to the 3rd job, it is not good to waste so much free experience.

I see how everyone leveled up, thus making my military force reach its maximum power at the moment, I look at the horizon and see how a new attack is coming, I am excited to think of everything I will get here, I already decided to complete my physical jobs first, so I'll change to thief once I complete this class, and then to acolyte, I'll leave the magic classes last since I know very well that I can level them up quickly.
'Here comes my experience, hurry up I want to level up quickly!' At the end of the day I ended up with just another big attack, thanks to which I managed to max out my Creator job, so I decided to switch to Thief and wait for a new attack that never came, so I went to sleep to recover my status.
"I hope these attacks continue like this, I can't wait to complete all my jobs! That's not to mention that they're actually idiots, there's no way they can defeat us!!" And yes, I decided to have some emotions back, it's kind of weird just having joy and determination....
And so I began my twelfth day in my new adventure...
8 days later I would really like to go back in time and punch myself in the face for raising such a flag for myself.

NOTE: Well, one more chapter, I don't know if it was actually noticed before how the MC acted, because if you analyze the chapters a bit, after he discovered that they are all NPCs, the dialogues between characters were almost non-existent. It's not that they didn't talk to each other, the MC simply wasn't interested and therefore didn't pay attention to what they said. And it's not like he interact with girls much either...
