Braydon Neal raised his hand and stored away the corpse.

Instead of heading directly to the second road, he turned and made his way to the basement.

In the damp basement, there was a human-shaped corpse covered in green fur, sitting in front of a chair, writing something with a pen.

It had held that position for many years.

It seemed to have been killed suddenly.

There hadn't even been time to resist.

Braydon stepped forward, frowning. 

Green fur growing on a corpse wasn't a good sign.

This corpse was likely on the verge of becoming psychic.

If it gained consciousness, it could turn into a terrifying creature.
