Bab 1791: I am the Lord of the Night

The feminine-looking young man didn't seem to grasp what Braydon Neal was planning. 

Braydon shifted the conversation, murmuring, "If we can recruit the wolf demon tribe and make them our mounts, we could revive the Northern Army cavalry."

"What did you say?" The feminine-looking young man was furious, a faint golden light radiating from his body. 

Divine might spread through the air, making him seem like the most powerful god in the world.

Braydon smiled at him. "I said I want to make you my mounts. What do you think?"

"Tear him apart!" The feminine-looking young man had tried to suppress his beastly nature, but Braydon's words struck a nerve. 

Demons despised humans for refining pills and weapons, but they especially loathed any mention of being used as mounts. 

To them, it was a grave insult.

After all, these demons were gods in their own right. 

With intelligence came an understanding of honor and disgrace.
