Esme's lookalike mingled with in the clan, just like Esme would do, for months until Esme got settled down in an unknown place far away from her mother and sorcery.

Time passed, hours turned into days, days turned into months, and no one could tell the difference between the real and counterfeit Esme and Elizebath became used to the dummy, occasionally mistaking her for the real Esme.

All was going well until one day Ivy stepped into Esme's room, and Elizabeth was not sleeping with Esme. She walked closer to Esme, but she couldn't feel her daughter, even though she was sleeping on the bed right in front of her.

Ivy scanned the girl on the bed and smiled, seeing her daughter getting strong enough to make a dummy that was successfully able to trick them into believing it was her.

"You are getting stronger, pumpkin," Ivy mumbled, walking out of the room and disappearing in a split second.
