I can't believe I lost to a nine name-days old boy even though I fought with all my might. Yes, I was defeated in our first fight as well, but at that time, no matter how much I didn't want to underestimate him and tried to fight him seriously, but I didn't use all my strength from the get-go; I think I used around 70% of my strength, so I was angrier with myself than against him.

It's been about six months since my fight with Wyland, which was pretty mundane overall. The only thing that stood out was my fights with adult knights between the ages of 16 and 20, and I couldn't win even one of those fights. They were all far superior to me physically, but most of them were inferior in talent, and they were aware of it.
Fighting most of them, I could read them like a book what they would do and when they would do it, but even if I could see the future, it wouldn't mean anything unless my body could follow this information. They were so much faster than me that my body couldn't even if my eyes could follow them.
Even the weakest had 6.7 spd and 6.9 str, the strongest being Hugo Moss. I don't even think I was able to really push him in the fights, he is a major bastard, but he was definitely strong. Till my fight with Hugo a few days ago, I thought I was pushing him, but I was terribly wrong. I had a breakthrough in my buffs while I was in Wolfswood the day before this fight.
Now my buffs provided 1.5 stats, my speed was 4.2, and my strength was 4. I thought Hugo had 6.9 speed and 7.3 strength, but I knew even with my buffs, I would still be defeated by him; I thought at least today I would be defeated without being crushed. He was still winning, but he suddenly showed a higher power when he couldn't crush me in combat. 7.3 speed and 7.8 power, and I don't think that's his peak either. He was serious, but he wasn't trying to kill me.
I didn't see him as a scumbag because he defeated me. as I said, I was losing to all the knights, but this bastard would keep striking at me even when I was falling to the ground beaten and almost always kicked me when I was on the ground, while no one was looking.
