Upon my shout, I crashed into the enemy ranks with a quillbeast's momentum. My whirling flail smashed several dozen helmets and heads as I pushed forward.
"GODDAMMIT! Kill h-!" a guard began to bellow. His words ceased when a crunch followed my flail as it burrowed into his skull. My force carried it forward, tearing it and a portion of his face free.
All that remained of the man's nose was a pit of blood and torn cartilage.
"AGHHHHH!" he flew before falling to the ground in front of me. "OH GOD IT HURTS!"
I maintained my rush forward, tramping over him with no hesitation. The weight of my armor made my stomps lethal, and the crack of his bones beneath my heels sounded as I readied to confront whoever else crossed my path.
Likewise, the rest of those opposing my advance failed in their attempts.
Hello readers!
First, I thank you for reading this far. It means a lot to me! Second, despite my best efforts, this book doesn't seem to be achieving the amount of exposure/interaction that I hoped for. That said, I think I'm going to focus on the creation of a system novel to hopefully garner a larger reading base. However, I won't cease updates to this book entirely. I know you all have invested precious time into my work and I'm very grateful for it. So I'll keep creating/release new chapters based on the number of summoning pens I receive (100 or so per chapter).
I really thank all of you who've pushed past all my mistakes and genuinely enjoyed the story! There's tons more to come still (we're not even 0.1% of the way through the storyline), I just need to try something different for a bit and see if that sticks.
