Bab 142: Looming Shadow Of Night

The atmosphere was tense as August led Claire to continue working their way through the layers of magic symbols and deeper into the heart of the formation marker. The air crackled with mana, and a faint hum echoed through the dimly lit patch of land. They were on a mission to disable the formation marker, a powerful magical artefact that held immense influence over the surrounding area and supported the Night Fog formation.

As they approached the final layer, which was a magic circle, Claire's anticipation mixed with caution. Her face scrunched up in concentration, her brows furrowing as she studied the intricate patterns etched on the floor. She could sense a subtle shift in the marker's behaviour, a change in its aura. 

The formation marker, which was previously static, was now moving! The magic symbols began moving with intelligence and direction.
