Malia is still at The Manor, her shift would end two hours later. I walk through the front door of my club and I know the moment she notices my presence even though her head is lowered because she stiffens. Erica elbows her, muttering something under her breath, but Malia doesn't look up at me. She excuses herself without even looking my way and strides off down the hallway in the direction to the staff room which is opposite to the bar and dance floor.

Wordlessly, I follow her, thankful that my legs are long because I reach her in just a few steps. A quick scan around tells me we're alone. I grab her by the elbow, pull her into a storage room, lock the door, and push her back against it. She gasps, her eyes wild with caution and arousal. More and more, I discover that Malia likes to be handled roughly. I pocket that information for now.
