Bab 2: Crimson Red
'Blood, Blood everywhere.'
The crimson red splashed on the walls as her cold eyes glanced at the still warm corps under her feet.
A small body.
The blond hair darkened by the filth and blood, reminded her of the name of the little girl, "Sunny", she was a crybaby. she would have never survived the future assessments anyway; she might as well die under her blade.
A clapping sound resounded behind her.
"Good, as expected of our 111, you are as ruthless as ever."
His overjoyed voice brought a fetid taste to her throat.
As a huge hand landed on her head, she froze and threw him a cold glare as she tried to free herself from him. How disgusting.
The man smiled coldly and tightened his grip on her head.
Letting out a chuckle as he heard her screaming of pain, he gently reminded.
"Don't forget 111, you are mine, a small fry I can dispose of at any time."
Patting her head gently, his bloodthirsty eyes landed on her as he said lovingly in a low voice:
"If you want to get out of here with all your limbs."
"I know, I have to finish them all."
"There are still 50 lefts, don't forget, I don't need useless toys."
'Useless, ah?'
Anger rose in her stomach like a burning flame, and overwhelmed all her senses, but she still kept her cool and replied disdainfully:
"I know."
The faint smell of blood and filth reminded her of her first time killing another human being.
'Yumi'
Her one and only friend.
The light in her life vanished as she took her last breath.
"Why? Even after dying, we still can't meet."
Her low murmur echoed in the small Hospital ward.
Memories buried her in a sea full of regrets, and when her watery eyes landed on the handsome man sleeping soundly, as if he was not aware of the dangers awaiting him, she somehow calmed down.
That handsome face was a candy to her eyes, and looking at him soothed her greatly.
If only he could see her.
Just a bit, and talk to her.
How pathetic, she was the queen of the underworld, her name brought fear to every man in this world, be it politicians, military generals and commanders, and every business tycoon.
But she still died under the hands of her biological family.
After been abducted by the biggest sect, she has since been elevated to an SSS assassin.
And now she was here, repenting in this small ward till the end of the world.
"Who?"
The murmur was so low that she almost missed it.
Turning her head, her black eyes stared straight at sleepy and dazed eyes.
