Bab 270: Zhou Hengyang Is Angry

"There will be a meeting in the village tomorrow evening." Zhou Hengyang's gaze remained fixed on Su Wen as he spoke. Something in its intensity made Su Wen flush, feeling heat creep along her bare skin.

It was difficult for Su Wen to ignore him, not when he was staring at her like that. It made her uncomfortable. Su Wen wanted him to stop but was too embarrassed to voice her thoughts.

If Zhou Hengyang denied it, saying he was not staring, wouldn't that paint her as someone with an overactive imagination?

Not wanting to continue that train of thought, Su Wen sped home. However, no matter how fast she walked, Zhou Hengyang kept up almost effortlessly. Eventually, she could not take it anymore and addressed the elephant in the room, "Why are you acting so strangely today?"

"Why didn't you come home for lunch?" Zhou Hengyang countered, training his cold eyes on something invisible in the air.
