Bab 25: Chapter 25: Time To Take A Stand

Nancy’s POV

I wake up and find the bed empty next to me, but the sheets are still warm from when Ronnie was laying on them. I slide out of bed and walk toward the bathroom for a warm shower. Ronnie’s bathroom is awesome; he has a tub big enough to hold five people and a separate shower with two showerheads facing each other on opposite walls.

The shower is my favorite, I turn on the water and don’t have to wait long for it to warm up even though I take showers hot enough to cook noodles. Stepping under the two streams of water feels amazing on my sore body. Though it’s not a bad soreness I feel. I feel amazing after yesterday, and not just because of the sex.

As much as I wanted to avoid talking about our fight, I’m glad we did. Ronnie was right, we needed to talk about our feelings after cooling off and thinking logically about what was said.
