20% Lord Hades: A Taxi Driver In Marvel / Chapter 2: An Old Journey!

Bab 2: An Old Journey!

As the clock strikes 11 in the morning, the streets of New York City come to life. The sidewalks are crowded with people, all moving with a sense of purpose and urgency. Businessmen and women can be seen rushing to work, dressed in their sharp suits and carrying briefcases, their eyes fixed on the pavement as they make their way through the crowds.

Tourists can be seen snapping pictures of the towering skyscrapers and famous landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and Central Park. Their faces are alighted with wonder and excitement as they try to take in the grandeur of the city's most iconic structures.

Street vendors and performers add to the vibrant atmosphere, offering everything from hot pretzels and popcorn to music and comedy. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods can be found all around the city. The vibrant colors of the street performers' attire catch the eye of the passerby, adding to the already rich tapestry of the city's culture.

The roads are a never-ending stream of cars, buses, and taxis, honking and weaving through the crowded streets. The sounds of car horns and the chatter of people fill the air, adding to the already frenetic pace of the city.

The roads are busier than ever, with delivery trucks and bicycles making their way through the throngs of people and vehicles. It's an accurate representation of the city's fast-paced, busy lifestyle. As the city awakens from its morning slumber, the energy is palpable. The streets are filled with diverse people from all walks of life, all going about their daily routines.

The pace is fast, and the mood is busy. It's as if the city is on a mission to accomplish as much as possible before the day is through. Street vendors shout out their wares, enticing passersby to buy their goods.

The buildings tower overhead, casting shadows on the busy streets below, creating a unique contrast between the old and new architecture. The morning light shines brightly on the busy city, illuminating the bustling streets and making the colors and details of the buildings stand out. It's an accurate representation of the city that never sleeps.

As the city bustles along, a sudden, loud and menacing exhaust sound cuts through the various noises, causing all the people on the streets to stop what they are doing and stand still, frozen in fear.

The sound grows louder and closer, and as it approaches, it becomes clear that it is the roar of a powerful engine. Suddenly, a black Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ car comes into view, its engine roaring as it speeds down the busy street.

People scatter out of the way, diving for cover as the car swerves and weaves through the frozen crowds, its driver apparently reckless and out of control. The car was like a dark entity, a harbinger of death on wheels, as it raced down the street, its driver invisible behind the darkly tinted windows.

As the car prowled the streets, it seemed to draw all eyes. People couldn't help but wonder at the black Bugatti's sleek lines and aggressive stance. The car seemed to exude power and speed as if it could outrun even the grim reaper himself.

The hood of the car was a work of art in itself. The intricate designs etched onto the glossy black surface depicted symbols of death and the afterlife. The skulls and scythes seemed alive, their eyes seeming to follow the onlookers wherever they went.

The craftsmanship was so precise that it seemed like the designs had been etched by the hand of death himself. The designs were so intricate it was clear that it took a master artist to create them.

The car windows were so darkly tinted that it was impossible to see inside, adding to the car's air of mystery. The wheels were alloy and painted black, with red brake calipers, a perfect contrast to the darkness of the car.

The tires were specially made with high-performance rubber to provide maximum grip on the road, allowing the car to reach higher speeds safely.

The exhaust system had been modified to produce a deep and menacing growl, sending shivers down the spine of anyone who heard it. The exhaust system was designed to amplify the sound, giving the car a truly intimidating presence.

The unique lighting effects on the car were a marvel to behold. The neon lighting illuminated the car from within, giving it an otherworldly appearance. The car seemed almost alive, like a being of darkness that had taken physical form.

The lighting was placed strategically under the car and around the headlights and taillights to give the car a ghostly appearance, adding to the ominous look.

The interior of the car was just as impressive as the exterior. The seats were upholstered in black leather, with red lighting that gave the car a sinister look.

The dashboard was equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an AI self-driving system to let the driver relax and a hologram display showing the speed, RPM, and other driving statistics. The car was also equipped with a high-quality sound system that could play haunting and eerie music, adding to the ominous atmosphere of the car.

This car was a true work of art, a masterpiece of design and engineering. It was a car that inspired fear and wonder in equal measure, for it was a car like no other, a car that seemed to embody the very essence of death itself.

As the Bugatti Chiron speeds away, the crowds slowly emerge from their hiding places, shaken but unharmed. A few people can be heard muttering curses and shaking their heads while others are still in shock, staring after the car in disbelief.

"Did you see that?" one man says to his friend. "That car was insane! It was like something out of a movie!"

"I know, right?" his friend responds. "I've never seen anything like it. The driver must be some kind of daredevil or something."

"I hope the police catch him," a woman chimes in, "that reckless driving is dangerous and irresponsible."

Hades had gone to pick up his 1000th customer, a reporter, on their way to a conference. This was a memorable ride for Hades as it would allow him to fully integrate with the "God of Death System." As Hades drove, his mind wandered back to how he had acquired the system when he had first met his wife, Hela.

It was a rainy April day, one of the worst weather days Hades had experienced since arriving in this world. He had just returned from Woodstock, a charming little oasis eight hours away from New York City. Hades rarely took such long trips, but he needed money and decided to take on the journey.

The trip to Woodstock had been fun as his customers were a group of jolly guys on their way to a festival. The early morning weather had been excellent, but by the time Hades started his return journey, the weather had turned worse. A thunderstorm was brewing, and he had to return to New York before the flooding began.

But, halfway through his journey, the rains caught up with him, and the road alongside a river was flooded, blocking his path. With no other option, Hades chose an old, forgotten path that went through the hills and forest.

As he raced through the woods, the rain started to subside, but another problem arose.

The lush green forest gradually gave way to dead and rotting trees. It reminded Hades of a scene from a horror movie. The forest became increasingly creepy as his old Ford Crown Victoria model taxi navigated the muddy paths.

As he drove deeper into the forest, the trees twisted and gnarled, their branches reaching out like gnarled fingers. The ground beneath him was soft and spongy, making it difficult for the car to get traction. The rain was still coming down hard, and the wind was howling through the trees, adding to the eerie atmosphere.

Hades could see strange shapes moving in the darkness, their eyes glowing with an unearthly light. He could hear strange noises, like ghosts whispering, coming from the night. He felt a chill run down his spine as he realized he was not alone in this forest.

The car's headlights illuminated the path ahead, but they had little effect on the darkness surrounding him.

The shadows seemed to move and shift as if they were alive. Hades felt like he was being watched, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease.

He knew that he had to get out of this forest as soon as possible, but the path ahead seemed to go on forever. He could see no sign of the road he had taken, and he was beginning to think he was lost. He knew he had to keep moving, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was following him.

He knew that in the Marvel universe, anything could happen at anytime, and his fears were soon to be realized.

As Hades drove through the forest, the darkness seemed to close around him. The trees were like twisted fingers reaching out to grab him, their branches scraping against the car's windows. The car's headlights barely penetrated the gloom, illuminating only a small patch of the road ahead.

The rain came down harder, pelting the windshield with a deafening roar. The wind howled through the trees, making the car shake and lurch.

Hades could see lightning strikes in the distance, illuminating the dark sky with an eerie glow. The storm was getting worse, and the muddy roads were becoming more dangerous to drive on.

The car's tires struggled to find traction, sliding on the slick surface. The wind was so strong that it was causing the car to sway from side to side, making it hard for Hades to keep the car on the road.

Hades was sweating profusely, even though it was freezing. His focus and concentration were reaching their limit as he tried to control the car in such harsh conditions and keep his fear in check.

The rain was coming down so hard that it was difficult to see the road ahead. The windshield wipers worked overtime but barely kept up with the deluge. The headlights reflected off the raindrops, creating a blinding glare that made it hard to see.

As Hades looked out of the passenger window, he saw a terrifying sight. The forest was filled with ghostly figures, their eyes glowing in the darkness. They were closing in on the car, their bony hands touching it.

The rain was coming down much harder now, and the wind was howling through the trees. Lightning strikes illuminated the scene, casting an eerie glow over the ghostly figures.

Hades could see that the skeletons were dressed in ragged clothes, their bones exposed in places. The ghosts were shrouded in mist, their faces twisted in a grotesque expression of terror. The zombies were the most terrifying of all, their rotting flesh hanging off their bones, their eyes milky white.

As the ghostly hand reached through the dashboard and grabbed Hades' throat, he panicked. He tried to shake it off, but it only tightened its grip. He could feel his airway closing, knowing he had to act quickly.

With a surge of adrenaline, he reached for the steering wheel and turned it sharply. The car swerved, knocking out skeletons in its way. The ghostly hand was dislodged, and Hades was able to breathe again.

He floored the accelerator pedal, trying to outrun the ghostly figures. But they were closing in, their ghostly voices growing louder. The car skidded on the muddy road, the wheels spinning wildly. Hades could see that the road was approaching a dead end, and he knew he had to decide quickly.

But with a final burst of speed, the car swerved towards a large dead tree. The car hit the trunk with a loud thud and suddenly stopped. The airbag deployed, cushioning Hades from the impact. He was shaken but thankfully not injured.

As Hades started to catch his breath, the driver-side door was yanked off the car, and skeleton hands reached in to grab him.

Hades was frozen with fear as the skeletons closed in on him. He could see the empty eye sockets, grime, and dirt covering their bones. He could hear their eerie laughter as they reached for him.

He knew that he had to act fast if he wanted to survive. He scrambled out of the car and started to run. He could hear the skeletons chasing him, their bones clattering against the ground. He saw the ghosts floating in the darkness, their ghostly hands reaching out to grab him.
