Bab 295: You Won't Die If You Don't Make a Mistake
"I am at least confident in drinking. Let's have a good drink today!" Jiraiya said confidently.
"We don't have to make this a competition, you know." Nagasawa kindly reminded.
The characters of Naruto Universe didn't even come close to the characters of One Piece Universe when it came to drinking.
And even in the One Piece Universe, Whitebeard was the one of the people who absolutely loved drinking, so just imagine his alcohol tolerance.
If Jiraiya actually challenged Nagasawa to a drinking competition, he would blose for sure. This was the first time they met, and Nagasawa didn't want to humiliate Jiraiya.
However, it was clear that Jiraiya was confident enough in himself. He did not think that she would lose to a young man like Nagasawa in terms of alcohol tolerance.
"Hahaha, it's alright, isn't it? It's rare occasion. It's a waste if we don't drink." Jiraiya laughed.
The waiter had already poured the wine for them. Shizune was still underage, so she did not drink.
Tsunade took a sip, and then said with a happy face, "I won't be joining you guys, I can't find Shikkotsu Forest if I'm hammered tomorrow."
"Shall we?" Jiraiya raised his cup and looked at Nagasawa.
Seeing that Jiraiya was so enthusiastic, Nagasawa had no choice but to join him.
Jiraiya drank it in one go, then put the cup on the table and said with a smile:

Jiraiya talked quite a lot. He talked about how lucky he was to reach Mount Myoboku despite being young and ignorant. He also talked about some things he had seen on his journey and his opinion of war.
And of course, he'd tell Nagasawa about their training when they were young.
However, he was getting drunk, so it was inevitable that he would subconsciously exaggerate things a little, and Tsunade would mocked him every chance she got.
Right when Jiraiya said that he had passed Sarutobi Hiruzen's training, Tsunade smiled and said,
"Jiraiya, you must be drunk. At that time, only Orochimaru and I got the bell. You were tied to a log."

"So, are you full?" Tsunade suddenly asked.
"I haven't tried the food yet. I have only been been drinking," Jiraiya said honestly.
"That's good. Since you haven't eaten, eat my punch." Tsunade punched fiercely, and the powerful air wave directly sent all the debris in the room flying.
Jiraiya was also sent flying by this punch. Fortunately, Nagasawa caught him quickly. Otherwise, he would have been sent flying into another room.
"Thank you." Jiraiya, who was caught by Nagasawa, thanked him.
Lord Jiraiya, are you alright?" Nagasawa asked with concern.
Jiraiya limped back to his seat and said, "It's not a big problem. I may have broken two ribs."
This was indeed no problem compared to the when he nearly died last time.
Nagasawa used his Medical Ninjutsu to treat Jiraiya briefly, and the two of them continued drinking.
Jiraiya's face became redder and redder, and his vision was getting a little blurry. So, he went to talk to Tsunade again. He clearly hadn't learned his lesson.
