CHAPTER TWENTY–TWO

An important commitment had taken the Alpha out of Rizine's room that night and they never got past the kissing stage. Rizine was thankful and happy, a part of her wasn't comfortable having sex with a man she just met not up to five hours ago.

Now that she was alone in her room, she plumped herself on the bed and exhaled a pent up breath.

Was this going to be her new life?

But with all the things she stood to gain like the fame, the riches, the luxuries and the fact that she was the wife of a handsome and powerful Alpha like Ryker, Rizine was comfortable with it.

It's not like her current identity as Rizine was fetching her any good — she was a slave, labeled a killer and a traitor, abused by Aster and nearly sacrificed. So she would give up that identity gladly.

And assume a new and better one as Queen Yasmina.
