Taking on the task of preparing for the queen's celebration, Scarlet took an active part in all the decorations and preparations, checking things out to give the best birthday celebration she could conjure to her stepmother. 

Thanks to the preparation, she was let out of her room, having the ban temporarily lifted. 

Not only that, she got to see less of Jasper, blaming everything on her busy schedule.

He wished he could take her out some more and see that beautiful smile on her face. If possible, kiss her but he was tired now. 

Unknown to her, his days of visiting were basically over and it was time to return to his own kingdom where he was needed and wanted.
