CHAPTER 119 

King Storm wasn't particularly happy with the fact that she left but who was he to complain?

"Was I too bad?"

KaiKane shook his head but when he realized what that would mean, he cleared his throat and used his mouth. 

"Not entirely. From a clearer point of view, I know you mean her well. You care about her safety as her father."

"But?" 

He was not an impartial being. He needed to hear the truth. 

"You could have told her no in a better way. You broke her spirit. All she ever wanted to do was help and that was brave."

Storm sighed. They did not understand. 

"I know you would say I do not understand but if there is anyone living now who understands you better, it is I."

"Then if you do, you won't say this. That was the only way to get her to understand and drop the silly idea."

"It wasn't silly entirely."
