Hyena attack

Two days had passed since they rested by the river. Lila's physical condition was also fit again, and they were ready to continue their journey, which only lasted two days, to the village where Lila lived.

The sun was already starting to feel the heat, it had been half a day since they resumed their journey back. Hans's hair exploded, and in seconds he went into beastman alert mode, his nose, ears, tail, and claws sticking out. Halvir also wore a hideous expression, startling Anindira, who was in his arms.

''Halvir!... This is different!'' cried Hans with a worried face.

''I know!... What we think happened,'' replied Halvir.

''Take Anindira as far as possible!... Don't turn around! Take her away! shouted Halvir commandingly.
