Bab 17: Cheated By The Crown!

"Who dares go in my way, show yourself!" Madame Gertrude noised in anger. She grip her who and glared around. 

"I want to see who touches her today!" Ezriel's deep voice reverberated across the stage and reached everyone's ears, he stepped fully into the stage and walked towards Eve who was still on the ground. 

He bent and looked at her, his red eyes blazed with anger and he sharply narrowed his eyes. He scanned her body for any trace of injuries and when he saw none, he helped her to get up to her feet. 

Surprisingly, Eve did not feel repulsed by his touch instead, she leaned into his arms and stared into his eyes in a daze. She must have bet that she had seen those pair of eyes somewhere, they were engraved deeply in her mind.
